The cottage itself is not fancy, and can be accurately described as a "mash up", with some items coming probably from garage sales, and some repairs being done in pretty crude-looking way. The interior is not fancy, and it is not too clean or can be made squeaky clean, if that is what some people look for.
The biggest complaint is that the hot water in the kitchen (but not in the bathroom) can be almost scalding hot, and that boats were not fully operational, but, otherwise, it was a great place.
The cottage was very well thought through and quite well equipped: we had everything that we needed and probably even more. The lake was gorgeous. The location was convenient, as it was quite far from Toronto to get away from the city, but close to Kingston and provincial parks for some sight-seeing. The boats were good, and, honestly, we'll probably come again.
