beds and cleanliness
This Hotel is a very nice place to stay, with great staff and quite nice rooms, which were very clean. It is right downtown in Antigonish, walking distance from everything. It also has a great restaurant!
This is a nice hotel, but far from being high end. The prices charged for the rooms, considering the nature of the property and the fact it is in a small town, are quite overpriced, often more than nicer rooms in Halifax!
I love the location, and the friendliness of the staff. We don't have a lot of hotel choices in this small university town.
It wasn't very clean. Lot's of black hairs in the shower and on the floor in the bathroom, and one in the bed. My hair is blonde. I think they need a better vacuum.
In center of town Room at back of Inn very quiet Staff very friendly and helpful
No elevator - needed to haul heavy luggage up stairs Refrigerator was warm when we arrived - cleaning staff had not checked that circuit breaker was tripped
Great location. Very well managed and comfortablei
Top marks to the housekeeping staff who keep the rooms in immaculate condition. Situated right in the centre of town in close proximity to excellent eating establishments as well as the university campus.
Lower rooms on the west side are extremely dark with heavy trees and overhanging upper balconies. Bathrooms, while very clean and well kept will be in need of upgrading very soon. Television has a digital signal only that is distorted and spread on an HD wide screen.
Room was clean, enough space (room with two queen-bed); nice restaurant in the house
no elevator - not a problem for us, but pehaps für elderly people
We stayed here one night after The Cabot Trail before travelling to Halifax. It was ok but Antigonish does not have much to offer. Nice rest stop LoL
The town :(
comfortable bed, clean room
Very comfortable bed.
nice, large room, very clean, nice staff
Lovely place to stay. We dined in the restaurant and the food was good. I thought I had left my camera in the room & called the front desk from the highway. She immediately sent housekeeping to search the room and called me right back. As it turned out I had it with me:-)
No hair conditioner in the room. Coffee for machine in room was simply horrible. Brown water at best. Breakfast at restaurant was sub par. Undercooked sausage made two of us slightly ill. Saw the server coming out with a plate and licking her fingers.
Well appointed large room. Furnishings and beds comfortable and inviting. Nice business center with a Mac instead of a PC. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Very pleasant, quite comfortable.
We liked the location. It was convenient to our travel plans. Room was nice size and wi- fi was good.
We could hear our neighbors. Maid service was inconsistent but we were told they were in training. I feel they need more staff.
Old and musty and restaurant food was poor. Not many options here but was not impressed.
Just overnight stay. nice restaurant attached. good food. room clean and fresh. good value for the $$
The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful to travelers. Nice neat, clean place to spend the night.
The room was large and comfortable which it needed to be as the weather was torrential so we spent a bit of time there! The staff were all very helpful especially Caroline on reception, so friendly. We ate in the restaurant that evening and had a lovely meal.
Excellent location, great staff, overall appearance and lay out.
Breakfast was a bit expensive.
We were very impressed with the size of the rooms and the service.
Clean and nice Hotel.
Price. Too expensive for the location. It's Antigonish! I'm surprised the prices cost the same as downtown Halifax!!
The rooms were good size, fresh and comfortable. The restaurant was also very good.
No elevator for handicapped people
