Score from 103 reviews Excellent 8.7/10
The location and design of the condos is fine. However, the entire building needs to overhauled.
Very compact and laundry facilities :)
Too much noise from coffee shopbeneath during t5am chair and table set up!
modern decor, location, security kitchen
Mattress on bed was uncomfortable,
Location was spot on for all the events and ease of getting to the shuttle in the morning, everything necessary was available in the kitchen, the hot tub was nice
Very loud in the parking lot- people sounded like they were having screaming contests in the early morning when we were trying to sleep, some of the kitchen pans and knives looked very old- broke on us sometimes but we could put back together, no air conditioning so we had to leave the windows open and no screens to shut out mosquitos so luckily there werent any.
The room was clean and well stocked with what we needed. I appreciated the free wifi and cable package. There were enough towels to last our five days. Liked the close proximity to the grocery store.
The couch was uncomfortable as I guess it was also a hideabed. Someone entered our room one day when we were not there and left a frying pan on the counter. I was not aware staff/owners could come in without warning considering there was no daily housekeeping. No basics like salt/pepper/sugar.
Beautiful and roomy. We will come back. Convenient location, really just like a home away from home. The pull out bed was surprisingly comfortable. We couldn't have been much happier with the room.
The front desk was across the village- a fifteen minute walk so check in and out were, ridiculously confusing and complicated. It was dismal as a first time visitor, to realize that after finally locating the lodge, that we had to then look for another hotel across town.
Great location, well-equipped, reasonable cost & welcoming appearance.
Not very well ventilated especially the bedroom and on closer inspection appeared a little rundown (paintjob, light fixture etc.). The foam on top of mattress in bedroom not comfortable & pullout couch bed in living room seemed warped as it was difficult to make up.
Everything about our room and kitchen was clean and well stocked with furnishings. The cost was reasonable and the location was close to a grocery store and outdoor concert hall.
The bath tub water did not drain due to a fully clogged drain. An irritation but not a major problem.
easy late check in easy check out
got stuck on M and not able to use elevator to go up because we did not have our fob on us
I liked the location the best
The property was well worn and needed some updates. The tub was very slow to drain making it difficult for use. The patio area was very dirty taking away from the charm the property once was. The fan in the fridge was very loud I think it needs maintenance for sure.
The beds where hard and lumpy
Location was perfect! The room was more than we expected for the excellent price. We came for a little May long weekend getaway, so really, we didn't need much. The bed was so comfortable!!
We had an awesome view of the mountains from our room, but the deck was a little tight and uncomfortable. I liked sitting out there to people watch, but the railing was so thick, it was in the way. Minor detail, but thought I'd mention it anyway.
Location right in the village. No noise at all, very peaceful. Cozy kitchen and the ability to be able to warm your foods and enjoy it in a relaxed way in the dinning area.
Housekeeping knocking on the door at 9.15 am. Checking out times too early.
I stayed in Room 314. It was a clean, well-equipped suite with most amenities included.
This hotel charges various taxes on top of the price quoted on Booking.com, which you are unaware of until you have booked. I was also charged a $500 deposit in case of damages (of which there were none) and I had to contact my bank personally to remove the 'hold' on this amount after I left the resort despite being told I would be able to access these funds 3 working days after my arrival. This left us with very little $ for the rest of our trip. The resort also attracts loud groups and the guest hot tub doesn't help matters. I wouldn't stay here again.
Great location, dishware, towels, and laundry included, as well as full kitchen. International and local phone calls for free!
We had a very difficult time getting in to the unit - lots of miscommunication and eventually we had to be let in by some passing Aussies.. Also there were two days of no hot water, which we didn't know anything about (how long repairs would take, etc.) and it felt like pulling teeth to get any information, although the operators were nice. Broken table leg in the main room and a bit junky overall, so really just for a week tops if you are getting in to Whistler. No main desk or real people to talk to (unless you count phone).
Location is good.
Sleeping facilities: the pullout couch is old and not comfortable at all, needs some update in the whole apartment, also the bathroom. for unloading the car, there need to be more pullcarriages, to take the luggage.
The location is great as well as having the option to cook in the suite- all dishes and the like are available for use.
There is no front desk at the exact location... You have to check in at a hotel down the street to reciece your room keys... This makes leaving the Market Street Lodge a little difficult as they ask you to leace the keys on the counter when you leave. Have to remembeer to pack up your car and move it out of the undergroud parking lot before you leave the keys otherwise you cannot get out! Also, check out time is a little early at 10 am- house keeping were knocking on the door at 9:30 already.
We stayed at room 304 and we were surprised with the size of the suite. It had a large reception area with a fireplace (gas) and a decent size kitchenette with a balcony . The bedroom was kinda cramped but hey at least your clothes won't smell like food if you decide to cook. The suite was clean. Location was perfect, very close to grocery and liquor store. 10-15 minute walk to village. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Price was good too.
Door locks need to be upgraded. It does not auto lock when you shut the door, you need to manually use a key to lock doors. Found it strange that there was no reception area on site and you had to check in from another location.
Great proximity to grocery store, liquor store, drug store. coffee shop, fast food. Everything within walking distance of everything.
Very old and run down, basically a dump for teen-aged boys to stay at. Comforter old and torn, bedding stunk like it had not been washed in a long time. Something spilled on couch that could have been wiped off but wasn't. Spare key in lock box did not work at all. Not worth the money at all.
Location was great, an easy walk to stores and an elevator that let's you out right beside a Starbucks, so even in 25C below you can get a good cup of coffee, with little effort, nice. It's a friendly place.
-it was all good.
it was in the village and it had a kitchen
the bed was hard
Would have like clearer directions on how to check in / check out How to operate security
I like being so close to the mountain and the whistler village.
The master bedroom needed thicker curtains because of the light that came through from the Olympic park.
Everything was fine. Had a great time
Hot tub should be indoors or at least shielded from the winds/weather
