Lack of screens on some windows and the clock radio did not work. Hotel needs more TLC

The bedding was clean

Carpet was disgusting and the place really stunk! It had a kithcehenette that said it charges extra if you didn't wash dishes - I think it is a health violation not to disinfect dishes between guests - counting on someone to wash dishes before the next person comes is gross! The map on website was not accurate either so finding it was challenging even though it was on the highway but the map showed it in town. I would not go back.

This is a throwback to 1960, which is when the furnishing in the room were bought. Although it is clean it is so old and the buildings run down that there is no reason to stay here. You can get a room next door at the swanky Beach Gardens Resort for only $10 more.

The beds are old and uncomfortable. The carpet is dirty. The repairs are poorly done. After one bath, the hot water ran out. The night was cold and wet upon arrival. The heat was not on at all. Had to wait until room heated.

De accommodatie (cabin) was extreem gehorig. Midden in de nacht gingen meerdere klanten al op pad, alsof ze door je kamer heen reden. Het motel ligt aan de hoofdweg. Inrichting was minimaal en achterstallig!

We were only in the area for one night. We knew that we would be coming in late and leaving early therefore we didn't want to spend a lot of money on a hotel. The Marland Motel was a very reasonable price.

The room was clean, although there were several stains on the carpet - room #16. It could have had a fresher smell, otherwise it was fine.

The room was very dirty, beds were bad, owner hardly speaks any English. In Booking.com the location of the hotel on the map is indicated at the town centre, however this is not true, it's located several kms out of the centre.

Beneden nl. Maatstaven.... Zeer primitief en weinig te zien in omgeving... Zelfs geen leuke restaurants

The staff were very helpful and friendly and the location was good - not too far from downtown. It was certainly adequate for the price.

Coffee was instant and there was a fridge but it made a lot of noise. There could be a sea view but all the big windows face towards the road. It was a very hot weekend and there was no airconditioning.
