The room was comfortable, clean, and well appointed. The Auberge is centrally located and quiet at night. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Their recommendation for a dinner restaurant was superb. It would be good to practice your French for an even more enjoyable stay.

The decor was breathtaking! Antique-style rooms, hardwood floors, renovated bathrooms... The complementary breakfast was also fantastic. Home cooked and more than just toast and cereal!

Hosts were friendly and accommodating: eased our late arrival, called for dinner reservations at nearby lovely restaurant. Rooms were beautifully decorated and spotless. Breakfast was delicious and presented attractively. English-speaking Americans, we enjoyed conversing with hosts and fellow travelers. Our fortunate stopover could well be a future destination.

Negotiating the long steep steps leading to the front door was a bit daunting. Is there an easier entrance available to visitors?

loved the hosts, the rooms, the location so close to downtown.

    nothing. It was terrific!
