Excellent location and staff were helpful and friendly
The hotel is rather tired looking and our room could use an overhaul. Bathroom amenities need to be bumped up a notch. Our room was very chilly - with heavy drafts around windows. They weren't any extra blankets in the room either. Also the local paper was not available for delivery to our room or at concierge desk.
Really warm and welcoming staff, authenticly so without the ingrained smiling through the teeth on many front desks. Location for onward rail commuting excellent. The immediate eating/drinking options felt a tad drab and corporate when turning right out of the hotel, but if going left there are some edgier dinners and streets with character.
The identical enfant twins from the shinning haunting the hallway...kidding, though the stunning building has that -Shinning' vibe within its vastness.
It's nice a close to the Bell Centre for hockey games....except when the elevator to the underground path is not working....
The hotel room was freezing. It was our second room. The heat was broken in the first room. We lost our view moving to the second room with no apologies. Being Marriot Elite means nothing there either....except for speedier Wifi (whoopydido). There's absolutely nothing that makes it charming. The deluxe king rooms are set up for one person (one bathrobe, one towel, facecloth, etc). This hotel added nothing special to our special occasion.
The room was well appointed, the bed very comfortable, the staff very helpful and the panoramic view of Montreal a treat.
The bathroom is perhaps a bit small.
had an excellent stay at this hotel with my girlfriend. great location if your coming in off the via train. central station is just around the corner, Bell centre is 3 minutes away and high streets for restaurants and entertainment are 5 mins. excellent!
little bit of a challenge accessing the gym facilities. you have to go through the spa. which wasnt open when wanted to do our workout.
Location of the hotel and our view from our hotel room were spectacular. Hotel room and bed were both extremely comfortable. Hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating to our needs and questions. Room service was really tasty and reasonably priced. Location to underground city, above ground shopping, and underground tunnels to get to the Bell Centre were beyond convenient.
Everything. Location, staff, food, pool, Starbucks! The beds were so comfortable we did not want to get up!
Cold weather! Prices in the minibar were a bit too much, but it's like that at any 5star hotel. I really have nothing negative to say about this property. It was beyond what we expected.
Poor location. A block south of where the action is.
No jaccuzy & hot tub
Just a great comfortable Hotel in a superb location. We stay there all the time, when in Montreal
Nothing, all is good.
I like having a restaurant at the hotel, room was nice and location.
I didn't like the passive staff. Not overly helpful or extending them selves at all. When you asked for help it felt like a chore. Concierge was asked to make dinner RSVP for us and said they are open but do no take RSVP. When we got there, the restaurant did not serve food only cocktails. #fail
Location was walking distance to shopping. Basilica. Valet parking was convenient. All staff was friendly with a smile.
I found black mold in bathroom the bathroom fan didn't work. The gold room I paid 100 extra for was a complete waste of money as the snacks were cold and hard. To top it all off I was charged full price. Absolute nightmare. The beds were the only good thing. Was a 40 dollar room at 300. COMPLETE WASTE
I loved the bedding, the hotel decor and cleanliness. The staff were excellent too.
The room and bathroom were much smaller than I thought. I surprised the restaurant was closed on the weekends. The swimming pool is very small and the water was cold. I was very much looking to spending some time in the swimming pool to relax.
The room was clean and modern. The view from the arch-shaped window was wonderful!
The wait for checking in and checking out seemed a little long but the hotel was fully booked for the marathon taking place that weekend so it was to be expected.
the gym was nice.
the spa area should not be in the corridor for the gym and pool .It is missing privacy and upgrade. no hot tub.
The front desk were so welcoming , Emma was a ten on check in and very helpful , concierge led us to all the right places. You are 5 star in our book ! Can't wait to return. Love it!
Overall a very nice hotel with a very central and convenient location. Right beside the Bell Centre and 2 blocks from St Catherines St.
Parking garage was a bit of a labyrinth and very pricey.
Luxury room with very comfortable bed, room is super clean and the view is awesome.
Nothing just yet
Advice on restaurants was great. Bis and Porto de Mar were excellent.
Quiet, clean room. Helpful staff. Good location. WIFI.
The once proud gem of the 20th century looks tired and dated, in need of freshening up. Parking is expensive (no in-out privileges without valet parking @$32/day).
I loved the fact that the room was at the right temperature, did not have the a/c blasting directly on us. Bed was very comfortable, loved the shower jet what a massage it gave.
The bar and restaurant were a little too pricey.
Location was very good. Bed was comfortable. View was nice from a higher floor.
No complimentary water bottles. Mini bar required a key to unlock, which is outdated. The shower head produced too much pressure and was not enjoyable.
