-BEAUTIFUL HOME-DELICIOUS BREAKFAST OVER THE TOP!-KIND HOSTESS-WONDERFUL PRIVATE ROOM WITH BATH-VERY CLEAN! SNACKS ALWAYS AVAILABLE
A LITTLE FURTHER FROM MAIN HISTORICAL AREA THAN I THOUGHT-TOO FAR FOR MY MOM TO WALK THERE
We had the private room on the side of the house with it's own patio and entrance. Nobody above us and therefore very quiet.
Jamie was very accommodating and was an excellent hostess. Room was clean and very comfortable and breakfast was very good.
Breakfasts were wonderful! Our hostess was very helpful and informative. Our private patio was a nice extra.
Main floor bedroom is very small and lacks a chest of drawers and closet for storage. Not an issue for a one night stay from Toronto, but we were travelling with luggage. Also, the WiFi signal did not reach the bedroom.
We enjoyed the perfect hospitality and our lovely room. Very conveniently located, only 5 or so blocks from the mains shopping district. Easy stroll to the waterfront.
our hosts were amazing. We felt completely welcomed and not at all like intruders or strangers. They were helpful in helping us find lovely restaurants and other great attractions. They were quite accommodating. Breakfast was amazing. Scones and jams....delicious!!!! Will definitely stay there again.
Great location - highly recommend
Nothing at all
Room was great, food was delicious and location was perfect for cycling the area as Mary street has a cycle lane and joins up to the main cycle path. Only a few blocks walk from the Main Street which gives you an opportunity to see the lovely homes and gardens. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.
It was a nice and tidy B&B. We have visited many B&bs but if they are all like this one its great.
Upstairs room had no decent Wifi. A pitty but nit a big deal.
Owners were lovely, so helpful and really could do enough to help. The room was a good size as was the bathroom. Good off road parking. Internet access was very good. Tea and coffee making not in rooms but downstairs with fresh cakes or cookies each day which was a lovely touch. Apple pie and carrot cake jams were amazing.
You enter the room through the bathroom. Due to jet lag we were light sleepers and were woken by kitchen activity each morning. Most people would have slept though this I think. They also have other rooms which wont be bothered by this. The negatives really wouldn't stop us from staying there. No choice of breakfast, but I really liked trying new things but didn't suit my husband so much.
We had a great time and meet some very nice couples from England and New York.Would go there again. The old town was something to see and walk down the sidewalk. We had a great tea at the Irish Tea Room.Fish and chips at Cork's was very good.
Staff very helpful and the breakfast was great. Location excellent for our needs. Private outside patio area to our room was nice.
Room fairly small. Would benefit from wardrobe rather than table and chair. No where to hang clothes or put large cases.
The location. The friendliness of the owner (Jamie) and her recommendation for a place to have dinner. The breakfast was fine and more than adequate in quantity.
The room was about 9 feet square, with no chest of drawers or wardrobe or closet. The door to the bathroom cannot be closed fully, because the air conditioner unit is plugged in in the bathroom. If you didn't want the air conditioner on or the door to the back garden open, then there is no ventilation, I.e., no window in the room. For something called the Gardenia Suite it is really cramped.
Amazing hosts, delicious breakfast, very clean bedroom and ensuite bathroom, comfortable bed. Jamie accommodated our check-in time, and when we were checking-out, provided us with a map, details about different wineries and bicycle routes AND provided us with a bunch of wine tasting vouchers!! we had such a lovely stay PLUS a wonderful (FREE) wine tour, thanks to our great hosts! My husband and I will definitely stay here again.
Excellent bkfst, tuned to personal diet. Comfortable bed, spacious room. Responsive friendly hostess. Easy access and on-site parking.
It was a longer walk to theaters than we had been expecting - especially the Festival theater, which took us 25 minutes.
Very clean, bed was so comfortable, excellent location.
Really pretty B&B. Great location for exploring NOTL (even on foot or bike). Friendly hosts but we still had our privacy.
Privacy & excellent breakfasts!
It was alright, not posh but a clean place to sleep. Breakfast was simple but filling.
Te owner Jamie was very friendly, and treated my wife and I as a family. No strict rules, come and go as you please. Every afternoon, had some home bake goodies available with coffee. Would absolutely recommend to any couple. We had a room on the first floor, and had a big balcony to ourselves, and had some great happy hours after the long day.
Our host was very friendly and helpful. The other people staying there were very interesting and pleasant to talk to.
Lovely setting on a beautiful street and a wonderful town. Relax and friendly establishment. You would be sorry leave!
Not a matter of dislike, but it would be nice to have another choice of breakfast. i.e toast with ham and eggs rather than Eggs Benedict (have to say it was delicious). Separate milk storage as I'd felt awkward going into owner's fridge for milk for our coffee.
Very hospitable B&B. Comfortable, clean room, well located with access to fridge, all day coffee (or tea), lovely garden. Accommodating breakfast needs. Would stay there again.
The room was clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and our hosts were friendly and helpful.
Food was excellent, very friendly/helpful owner, ease of finding location, help finding another day of accommodation.
no soap, very damp, very small, no closet , no space for suitcases, good for a single person
