For our 40th wedding anniversary I planned a full evening at the Mayfield I thought we would take in a dinner theater and enjoy an evening relaxing in the mayfield suite with my wife. I had ordered roses for my wife and had them delivered to the room in advance. When i opened the door to our suite the mood for the evening when out the window. The condition of the room was something you would expect to see only on tv were ladies of the night would take clients. Dirty carpets, old tables and chairs with a sway back bed. The roses i ordered for my wife was left in the boxon the windowsil. I returned to the front desk to complain about the room and much to my surprise the female clerk at the front desk was very unfriendly to my complaint. |

I liked the first impression you arrive, nice lobby. Staff at front desk was very courteous and efficient. I stayed in the older tower, it is starting to look a bit dated and even though this is a smoke free facility my room still smelled of smoke. Also, the bathrooms near our conference room could be updated as well. |

Prompt service The pool is way too far from main hotel. Rooms are getting a little old. Not worth the regular price but was ok since we had discounted price thru booking.com. |

Within 15 minutes of our arrival at our room, the people in the room beside us were loud, obnoxious & cursing very loudly. The front desk immediately placed us in an upgraded suite at the other end of the property where it was quiet & luxurious. My husband explained that we had a conference early the next morning & could not be kept up through out the night. All other services & amenities were excellent. We would definitely return, good food, close to shopping, great window view. On the weekend, arriving after 8 pm in the evening or returning from shopping later, results in available parking only in the far back of the property. |

Everyone was accomodating & friendly, also a very nice atmosphere. Easy to get to & from. The one thing was the light in th bathroom was not bright enough, hard for doing makeup. I did mention this upon checking out & a note was made of it. |

The front desk staff were wonderful helping us find out why the booking did not make it to their computers. I was very frustrated that the booking did not come through to their computers. Much time was wasted as we were unsure whether we would be able to even get a room. I was almost late for my conference and my husband had to stay at the front desk for at least 30 more minutes trying to straighten everything out. |

Someone came into out room and left Valentines cookies. Yes this is nice and all, but there was a do not disturb sign hung on the door because I had my dog in there while we were downstairs eating and she likes to dart for the door when opened. Also, Parking was outrageous!! |
