Location, view, shower, room
It was in a nice convenient location and the facilities were great. The breakfast was so so.
I like the comfort of a private room, the view from my room to the street, the breakfast was very good the staff courteous and helpful
I did not like the TV at the foot of the bed, it would bed better if the TV was on a stand that has wheels so I could move it to the corner of the room and sit comfortable in the chair with the TV in front of me, or just turn it around and make myself comfortable in the chair in front of the TV. since I don't like watching TV in bed, because I fall asleep and the TV end up watching me. (laugh) so to make myself comfortable I had to pull the ottoman in front of the TV at the foot of the bed with pillows as my as my back rest.
After a long day of travel we arrived at McGill to two tour buses of excited young people checking in. The lobby was buzzing with excitement, laughter and noise. I figured there would be no sleep tonight. Surprise! Check in was quick and easy. Never heard a peek all night. The beds were comfy and cozy. Breakfast was great as well. Check out was a breeze.
Free high-speed WiFi, superb value for money with breakfast included no less, depanneur (convenience store) with ice-cold beer across the street
Window only opened an inch or so (although I can understand why, since this is a university residence ...)
It's fine for what it is. Has seen better days but clean and safe enough for families or single travelers.
Lack of coffee machine in the room
The location was ideal for exploring the city. The rooms were decent for the price. Continental breakfast was not bad with lot of options. Staff was friendly.
The eggs were a bit cold for breakfast
Mall under residence.
1. Odours of residence, room, couch, 2. Breakfast (dry pastry, broken coffee machine) 3. Technologies in rooms (tv) 4. Broken furniture ( couch)
Could be a bit cleaner
I loved the location of the hotel and the rate was great especially for the weekend. Young crowd.
I wish they had a pool or a jacuzzi. It seems like it hasn't been updated in a long time.
The location is great if you like walking around a city.
Room was worn down.
The location and price makes this place amazing! The breakfast was good too
Not being able to check In till 3 pm is insane. When I arrive early in another country to do events I would like to not have to worry about leaving my luggage out for 5 hours while I wonder the country.
Much better than I expected. Excellent location and the staff was wonderful.
friendly, helpful staff nutritious breakfast comfortable beds cleanliness of room view of Mount Royal location value for the price
Lack of water fountains as well as kettles from where we could get hot water. There was always a long queue for breakfast which could be avoided if more counters are set up
location, proximity to McGill, modest price
line-ups for breakfast, young guests who hung out in the hallways
Best wifi of any hotel I've been to, clean rooms, friendly helpful bilingual staff.
Parts of hotel a little run down, breakfast was just ok
Carpets needed cleaning Furniture in poor conditio (chair)
Had a good ambiance and good location. The female desk clerks were very helpful and informative. Shopping for amenities underground with elevator access to hotel. Nice feature.
The male front desk clerks were on the abrasive, aggressive and disrespectful side. mmmm......even to one another. Manners need some work.
