The food was excellent as was the service in the cafe.

Children running around after 10 pm - very loud and not supervised.

Spacious comfy rooms. Friendly attentive staff. I broke a coffee pot in the room and was brought a new one immediately. Very fun for kids! They have a movie in the lobby with popcorn after the pool closes!

I enjoyed the little shop so many different items, the pub was quiet with friendly staff and my room backed onto the terrace very nice

I awoke to beetles crawling on the wall groused me out! Would like to suggest make up remover towellettes in bathroom, I didn't bring any because I thought there would be some, it would eliminate black on pillows and clothes

The pool area is nice & having a good restaurant . Also the movies shown in lobby & popcorn for the kids was a great idea!

The room we were in could use up dating. The mattress was very uncomfortable. Quite pricey per night, about $20 a nite too much in my opinio.

Convenience of location. Water slides and pool. Cafe has great food.

Beds weren't overly comfortable, the free wi-fi never worked on my ipad, pay per view movies were very expensive.

Rooms were not that clean, and towels were not replaced daily. Floors were dirty, found a pill on the floor after we checked in.

I really enjoy the family friendly atmosphere. My children love the water park. The staff is very courteous.

Decor is old, smelly. Carpets in hallways always seemed wet from pool traffic. Pool itself was run-down looking, tiling was patchy, kinda gross. Overall, I felt like it was a 2 star hotel at best and I was charged way too much for it.

We were doing a weekend break with our grandchildren. We chose the MHL because of the waterslide which was an absolute hit!!

There was a large group of unruly, boisterous teenage boys running over smaller kids on the waterslide. There was no supervision from the staff to make sure that the rules were followed. When it is so busy especially on a cold winter day, I think that there should be more than one staff member supervising the activities!!

Swimming pool was great and so was Buffett. Having the movie night with popcorn was also fun for the kids.

Our room had a sock left behind on the bed. But other then that nothing else.

Friendly and courteous staff.

Dinner buffet was not good.

Did not like that I booked online for $99 but was charged $135 as well as some incorrect movie charges on the bill. Was not able to get back to change or modify bill.

A little over priced..

Really enjoyed our rooms, the gal at the front desk found us adjoining rooms with a door inbetween, so we were able to be close to family. Liked the fact that we could open a window for fresh air!!

My sister and I brought our parents to attend the funeral of my dad's brother. When we arrived the desk clerk said they had no room in my moms name, as she looked further she told them they had already checked in! She sent a young man to check, there was luggage in the room. She insisted that they must be 'another same last name'.....I asked to see the signature for who ever had taken that room and it was the same last name'. Eventually she gave my parents another room. At least there was a room, my parents were already stressed after a long drive and considering why we were there but hopefully a lesson learned for the staff....everyone shows a credit card upon check in so the name should match the reservation! Other than that the lodge is very nice place to stay!

Desk staff were exceptionally quick and friendly. The room was spotlessly clean and quiet.

I found the restaurant staff Thursday evening to be rude but on the other hand the lady in the gift shop was great. The pool area was dirty and jets in hot tub not working.
