-location was great -check in was easy -front desk reception was very friendly. -spacious room with high ceilings
-hearing guests in the rooms across the hall and next door. It was very disruptive and impossible to get to sleep. -shower is part of the room so if you are travelling with someone who you are not comfortable to get naked in front of this hotel is not for you. -trying to be ultra modern, it actually made the room feel cold and unwelcoming. -do NOT order room service from the restaurant - food was prepared with subpar standards.
Pretty much everything
Next door to a club with rowdy, preppy obnoxious clowns
Cleanliness, staff, spacious rooms, stylish decoration, loved the bath tub and rain shower as part of the room, was nice to have the wonderful bath robe, free wifi, complimentary calls anywhere in the Canada and US, bottled water, and coffee! super nice, helpful staff.
I would have liked to have the option of a down pillow and comforter given that we had a bathrobe, some slippers would have been nice!
Staff was so very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was a beautiful property in the heart of the city! We would stay here again for sure!!!
The room was chic. Shower in middle of room. Ferry clean. Nice boutique.
Location is inconvenient. For' the price expect minibar.
The room was spacious and quiet, nice deep tub with large separate shower with the toilet in its own space with a door. We loved the room!!
The only inconvenient thing was the parking. Not from the city I found it to be very disorienting on where I was.
Very Clean Room size
Noise from restaurant Restaurant Service (3 hours for a meal) Decor very dark and bare
room is very large nicely decorated and clean nice location next to market
Room had an odd smell
How to get there with all one way streets.
No parking, but that is everywhere in the city, though the is parking nearby at the covent market place
great location to our family wedding nice modern rooms
parking options- cost everytime leave the parking garage no breakfast expensive for what you get the power went out at 5:30am on Sunday morning and when we went to leave we were in complete darkness in the hallway trying to feel our way out- the emergency lighting had died after 2 hours- I think the staff should have notified us before we attempted to leave the room
Everything. It was like finding a rare gem among coloured glass.
Great location and I mean Great
Knowledge of some staff of stores and where things were was poor
Modern atmosphere, clean, friendly staff, location, krueig coffee machine in every room and in lobby area.
Free wifi was not working kept cutting out. To be fair they were having issues with it. They offer free crib upon request, but turns out to be a playpen. Free Starbucks coffee advertised didn't see any Starbucks on the property. Evening staff were unknowledgeable, couldn't recommend restaurants in the area. Parking is extra.
very spacious loft Suite with beautiful design, nice bar
a bit difficult to find, parking in next building, large Windows facing other rooms
I loved the location of the hotel, walking distance to the Budweiser Arena and the Market. The staff was great..very friendly, helpful and knowledgable about the area
The staff were so pleasant, professional and helpful. It was a real joy to see and speak to them everytime we crossed paths. It was so nice for them to make our 50th anniversary an even more special occasion with the card and bottle of wine :) We have already told so many people about this wonderful place and will highly recommend it over and over. Thank you for the lovely stay.
The staff is what makes this place! From the front desk to the cleaning staff, to the Blue Duby staff - all amazing.
The modern look The spacious room
Rooms are very modern and beautiful.
No parking- had to pay $13 for parking across the street, air conditioner was very loud when it was on
Very nice hotel, friendly staff, good location.
Right across the street from the Covent Garden Market. Places to eat within walking distance. Hotel was super clean and beautiful, both rooms and the lobby. Staff was friendly :)
Wifi connection was pretty poor. Had to park in the market parking garage, so the parking was a bit spendy for being there multiple nights.
Great location in an upcoming downtown area. The room was clean and coffee was available. Internet worked just fine.
Very uncomfortable pillows. The drain in the sink was clogged. The room, in it's effort to be N.Y. trendy was very dark, lacking touches of colour. The only privacy to be had was to shut the black out curtains and remain in the dark or turn on the lights which were too bright. The restaurant was very dark as well.
Loved the location and the comfort of the room and the complimentary Kuerig coffee maker and the bed was extremely comfortable
I would of liked to have a Jacuzzi tub and fireplace in the room
I was driving from Quebec to Minneapolis with my boyfriend and we decided to stop in London to rest, so we knew nothing about the town. I saw the great reviews and decided to book here instead of a boring chain hotel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The girl at the front desk upgraded us because we had trouble finding the location (because the streets had been closed down due to an event) and we were exhausted from our drive. Our room was beyond cool--exposed brick wall and modern furniture and finishes. They are all about details here--Aveda products, makeup remover wipes, robes, free wi-fi and coffee and tea. There's a great market across from the lobby too that has a variety of food vendors, so there's something for everyone.
We almost cancelled our booking and went to the Marriott because we drove through a very sketchy area to get to the hotel and then couldn't find the lobby (because the roads were blocked off due to an event). We found the back door and didn't see anywhere to park--and it's not the kind of neighborhood where you want to leave your car outside. I called and the front desk person was very nice and helped us find the parking garage and the lobby, which is kind of in a courtyard/alley. They don't have their own parking garage, which gave me pause. The girl said it wasn't safe to park outside, which worried me too. So we had to carry our bags up a flight of stairs on our own. We left our biggest luggage in the car but I was worried about it. We decided to just roll with it and be adventurous so we checked in. So glad we did! It's actually facing a nice area but the backside borders a questionable area. You won't even notice once you're inside. The only other thing--which isn't really a negative, just a personal preference. The room was very, very nice but the tub and shower are in the room--so they're exposed. I'm comfortable with my boyfriend but I was really cold taking a shower and am sort of shy when it comes to that stuff so I felt uncomfortable showering out in the open like that. This doesn't reflect on the quality of the hotel at all--some people would have no issue with it.
