Site Quality of food
Loved the whole experience
Very friendly professional staff
the staff, the room, the food and the natural souranding.
Comfort, attention, quality of food
Personalized extra touches: 1. Appreciated Tyler's description of entrees when presented --> heightened expection and appreciation of culinary detail! 2. Hotel found out that it was our anniversary -- added "congratulations" note to chocolate dessert.
The spa was lovely and service was good
The rooms were very dated and seemed well-worn. Old draperies and bed spreads reminded me of a grandmothers house, not a high-end spa and hotel. The pool and hot tub were not very inviting but the room was very nice.
Awesome location, quiet & quaint rooms
Front desk - quite firm & rude on no 20 min extension re check out . Breakfast - room service lacking butter, no straw for smoothie .
It was a surprise birthday party for my wife and the staff did an excellent job in making it a very special celebration.
Expensive, small room.
Ambience, restaurant, staff. Room was very cozy. Great view up the river. High tea was excellent, and so was the breakfast buffet, which was reasonably priced. It is in a beautiful setting.
Prices for dinner in Headwaters Restaurant. We were quoted a special at $70.00/person. We went into Orangeville to the 199 Restaurant, a lovely restaurant, and had their special for $30.00/person, which included starter, main and dessert.
It truly was the little things... rose on the bed when offered the turned down service. The music cd to relax in the room. It was extremely wonderful. The coffe was great too!!
My only negative was the fact that you could hear your neighbor crystal clear talking in the next room. So the privacy was an issue.
Beautiful setting and grounds. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Comfortable rooms with interesting furnishings.
Parking area being quite separate from the inn itself makes for an unpleasant walk in cold/wet weather, particularly when bringing in luggage. It would be lovely in the summer, however.
Dinner was excellent. Spa was luxurious. Grounds were beautiful.
Staff said there was cross country skiing on site but the trails were not equipped for skiing. Snow shoeing would be more appropriate.
The staff were very friendly
the Room and the lounge area is very basic
Dinner was not good but waiter took care of us
We stayed over Christmas Day and in spite of a power failure (the Ice Storm!) we received an excellent meal and service. We will definitely go back.
Nothing negative to comment on.
Homey feel; fire in fireplace in lounge; view of falls at breakfast; Xmas decorations; food was excellent; staff was friendly and helpful
Parking is a bit far on a cold night
the whole attmisfer was excellent staff offered to help when questioned
that i could not directly get talking to the millcroft inn to confirm me registration or ask about meals ect. To talk to anybody it is to much confusion and talks way to long to call.
Dining room. Front desk and wait staff Decorations for Christmas are outstanding Heated floors Pool and natural light Breakfast
Heated floors were too hot Croft furniture could be updated Relatively expensive for elderly retired couples
Food was excellent. Location was very pretty. Bed was comfortable and it was nice to have a fireplace.
Didn't like that I didn't know it was a loft room - it's important to me to have bathroom and bedroom on same floor. Also found one of the dining room staff overly familiar - he wanted to know our names and used them CONSTANTLY.
The staff were excellent - one of the best parts of our stay. The food was also excellent. The walking trails were nice and the facilities were good.
The decor is dated. The spa is overpriced. The pillows were very uncomfortable. The fan in the bath was very noisy.
-Staff was kind and professional -Bed comfy -Beautiful lobby and grounds
-Very noisy. The heaters were loud, and there was a wedding so they were very noisy, so no sleep. -The cups for the coffee were unwashed -Pool not included -TV is tiny
toilet ran all night sheets smelled of bleach bed squeaked not enough products (e.g. shampoo, coffee pods)
Food, Reception, Accommodations, Hiking trails
Nothing - all as expected
