Thanks Mark, the Girls had a great time at your place!!
This inn is actually a hobby farm. The food was excellent and mostly from the farm. Very unfancy, with a bathroom in the hall, but close to town and quiet. Would be worth calling first before booking as there are limitations on how this website let's you do things. Call first!
My sister and her kids, my aunt and uncle and her kids, and my kids and I rented all 4 bedrooms for two nights. We had full access to the kitchen so were able have extended family over for dinner and visiting. Everyone loved the house! The kids all loved the animals and running around the farm. We can't wait to go back!
Great breakfast Very friendly and helpful host Convenient to KVR at Myra Charming and unique setting on a farm with animals
shared bathrooms but in general that was OK just not used to it. Creaky floors again OK but may bother some. Not great beds.
Very clean, delicious breakfasts, love the front porch
This is such a cute house to stay in. It's near a ton of different attractions (hikes, wineries). Mark is a great host and had excellent suggestions on things to see and visit. The breakfast was great too!
It's a cash or check only facility so make sure you're prepared.
My husband and I stayed in various hotels/motels/B&Bs during our 21-days road trip in western Canada and this place made us feel the closest to home. The environment is so natural and relaxing and the hosts are so nice that it was just like staying overnight at a friend's house . We would definitely go back if we visit Canada again! Specifically speaking: - The wooden house is surrounded by green and literally on a spacious farm. Mark and Amber keep 1 donkey, 8 goats, 100+ sheep, etc. You can see them leisurely strolling on the farm while learning interesting stories about farm life from your hosts. The windows of the dining room and the patio are half-covered by green vines in summer (probably grape in autumn?). The view of every window of the guestrooms is peaceful countryside landscape. The neighbourhood is quiet at night and great for stargazing. There is a clear creek just hundreds of meters away. Any nature-oriented people would fall in love with this place. - They have bikes to rent for free. - It's only 25 minutes biking or 8 minutes drive to the downtown. There are some wineries closeby too although we didn't have time to try out. - Mark's breakfast also makes a talking point. We had two breakfasts - they were different but both delicious! I miss the juice made from the farm and the yoghourt! - Originally we had planned to stay only one night in Kelowna. However I left my jacket and small backbag (including an I-pad) at Mission Creek and didn't realize it at all until our second day in Banff. When I was about to contact Mark, I saw he had already emailed me about it. I told him we'd drop by on our way from Jasper back to Vancouver and he kept the stuff for us for almost two weeks. So we went back and stayed another night - we were actually very happy to do so and thanked my carelessness for giving us a good reason.
- Nothing for us.
It was close to where I had business.
There was no soap, shampoos, etc.
The country farm atmosphere and being able to borrow bikes to ride on the Greenway.
The curtains in Room 1 let in too much light in the morning. They need block out blinds.
Mark is a wonderful host. Breakfast was great. Door hinges need to be oiled and some floor boards to be nailed down in order to minimize squeaks.
Lack of hand towels
Homey feel Hammock on the porch Beautiful old house Simple and comfortable
Well water, it always smells a bit of eggs
Being so close to nature
Mark and especially his wife Amber were great hosts, we will never forget the hospitality and kidness of both! A beautiful peaceful old farmhouse with cute animals and a nice breakfast! We will book it again when we are in the Okanagan Valley area! Much love to Mark and Amber from Henni & Thomas/Germany superb! ****
The people around theyre so nice and warm.. i love the surrounding so peaceful and beautiful.
Loved the quiet farm location and fresh food. Owners were friendly and helpful.
There were no drapes to darken our bedroom.
Huge house with 4 - 5 restrooms / bathrooms. Very comfortable and cosy.
It was our third time there and as always Marc and Amber were a delight and very helpful!
Beautiful house, farm, nature, great host. Very nice experience.
The owners were caring and patient as we had a new born with us. It was my wife's birthday and they took it on themselves to decorate. The house was very charming and breakfast was very healthy and made from scratch.
My only feedback would be that our matrice was hard for my taste.
Beautiful scenery and nice old building
Place was a little chilly
We had the place to ourselves, as we visited in October. The breakfast was amazing! We had everything fresh off the farm. Peaches, grapes, honey, eggs, fresh sheep sausage...We would go back!
