I really liked how unique the rooms were

When I said the TV didn't work, I was told how to try and fix it. It never did work. There was no offer to have someone look at it. This is poor service.

Price was reasonable when booked on the internet. Newer faciity and easy to get to.

We were given room #101 which in my opinion should not be rented since everyone is going and coming from that area and the door of the room is not sound proof. Others all night long were letting the side exit door plus their motel room doors slam with loud laughter and talking/yelling in the hallway/entrance area. It was the worst night I have ever experienced in a motel. At one point I even got out of bed and went out into the hallway to ask if they could quiet down. The front desk person did nothing and they could also hear the noise. We finally gave in at 4 A.M. and got up showered etc., and left before the continental breakfast (which was one reason for choosing this motel and I do enjoy eating at the motel rather then stopping again) We have stayed here before but never experienced such behavior from other residence. Please do not rent this room unless it is for those people who are there just to party all night long.

The facility was absolutelysmoke free. It was nice to have a smoke free room that did not smell like old smoke.

The hotel is clean and has the amenities that we like. Even though we missed breakfast this time we really like that it is included.

No hot tub.

Everything was there to suit our needs. Will book again when travelling in the area.

The $100 hold on the credit card to cover potential incidentals. I have not run into this before and for this reason I would not stay here again. In discussing this with some friends who are going to Barrie, they did not like it and will not stay there even though our experience was positive.

The pool had a live spider at the bottom of the pool with hundreds of dead aunts at the bottom also and live ones everywhere. The worst part is when we went back up to our room what are the odds but it happened my daughter removed the sheet and discovered a small bug crawling on the sheet. The desk host was very kind insisted on another room but I new my daughter would not be comfortable and her young daughter was very upset.

Our room was missing hand soap,shampoo and lotion.I would have liked to see also more than 2 face cloths...also a plastic liner bag for the ice bucket...The air conditioner was too noisy and the fan never shut off even though it was set to auto..We don't like the fact that we cannot take out a coffee or muffin from the complimentary breakfast as we usually take some to go in the morning when we don't have time for a sit-down.

When you book and put the deposit for the room on your credit card, and pay with cash or debit on check out. They hold the deposit money for 5 days, claim this as normal practice, which is a lie. Any other hotel will release the funds back to the card upon check out.

Especially the night manager who welcomed us @ 3am and made a room available even though I had booked in error for arrival the following day. Cleanliness, decor

I was not impressed with booking online through a third party that specifically said we would not require deposit. When I got to the counter he said thats not their policy. There is miscomunication between the lines. I felt I shoukd have been offered an upgrade or money off.

-Pillows were uncomfortably too large -Drapes didn't close made it hard to sleep past sunrise -Very unclean behind dresser dropped something back there and had to retrieve very surprised how much other stuff was back there
