Novotel Montreal is ideally located in the heart of Montréal shopping and dining scene. Half block one can easily walk to Rue de St Catherine and find amazing stores and retail business. Hotel lobby is adequate and staff super helpful. Bar is very good too. For dining options one can head to Crescent and Peel streets with fancy restaurants Room decór is bland ad boring, they should replace light bulbs for warm colors. I would definetly stay another time in this hotel.

It's the 3 rd time I've been your hotel in montreal and I always chosen this hotel for the location and the price, after going to the maritme plaza on Guy street for a couple of times... But I'm thinking on going back. We had room 429 the carpet in the room was TERRIBLY DIRTY and even torn at some places. there was hair on the bathroom floor and in the bath. the supposed white bed skirt was full of yellow spots:discusting after the first night the cleaning lady came at 4:30pm after we asked her to come because we were really tired and hoping for a shower the the room was not done. we waited only 12 litlle minutes and she was done so imagine that it was not clean at all .

Location and desk staff. Room advertised with two double beds but had pull out couch & king bed. Room overlooked garbage bins with an early morning pick up - noisy.

The room was clean, Bed and sofa bed were good. Location great. This hotel is good for anyone who needs a room to sleep for one night. The underground parking was a nightmare, it was very difficult to maneuver around. They filled every possible open space which made it very difficult to park a midsize car. For this reason, I found the parking fee was way to high at $25.00 per day. The toilet didn’t work properly. The advertised in room fridge was not usable as it was censored fridge and if you moved any items around you would automatically be charged for that item. The fridge was over stocked which meant you could not store your personal items. There was only a closet, no drawers. Luckily we spent very little time there. We would not recommend this hotel to any who intends to stay there for more than a night. This hotel is to expensive for what you get.

spend the extra cash and stay at the Sheraton or something else. Novotel is more like a hostel than a hotel. I will not return to this hotel.

Location is excellent, close to downtown Montreal and The Bell Center. The staff very polite and friendly. Close to public transport and proximity to Montreal shopping and many Restaurants. The restaurant/bar downstairs in this hotel is very modern and comfortable, serve good food also has a projector and wide screen tv's. Not much to dislike about this hotel at all. A bit expensive maybe, that's all.

The hotel was in the perfect location for us because we were visiting Montreal for our anniversary and attending the habs game. The Hotel and the room were modern and created a nice atmosphere. The hotel wasn't clean, that's for sure. We eat lunch in the restaurant, the food and service was great but I noticed the restaurant manager going around to all the tables making sure they were set perfectly meanwhile the chairs are disgustingly filthy. I reported to the front desk that the toilet seat in our room was disgusting and don't think it had been lifted and cleaned for a very long time. The hotel was beautiful and the employees were great but cleanliness is not a trait of this hotel.

Always like the location. Price was fine. Their parking garage is always a challenge, but a known quantity so no real issues.
