Knowledgeable front desk staff. Rapidity of service.
Noise from street. Sofas in lobby in dire need of cleaning.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Nice atmosphere. It's quiet and very clean. The staff is excellent.
Beds are small for the double rooms.
Nice, friendly, efficient and helpful staff at the reception and breakfast restaurant. Quiet, well air-conditioned comfortable room. Excellent location!
poor bed making, old and dirty carpet. Really miserable. Shower curtain needs to be refreshed, but it was not a major problem. The fridge was too full to put my own drinks and it was not allowed to move the bottles already in it.
Longer walk to metro
Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff accommodated us immediately with all of our requests. The concierge was very knowledgeable of the area and recommended great places to visit and to eat. Everyone was very friendly.
The underground parking was a nightmare. Space was very limited and getting into and out of cramped parking spaces was difficult; we were fortunate to have rented a compact car. The parking price was exorbitant! The twists and turns were ridiculous to maneuver!
Great Location. Walking distance to great places, metro, museums, shopping.
Parking was a little bit off. Felt sometimes that it could be unsafe since no one was watching the cars.
Floor carpet are so old and dirty...
Location & Staff
1- Hot tub doesn't drain the water quickly. Even we asked them to fix it! we got promise, did come ! 2- We have kids. We asked them to take the mini bar from the rooms out, promised, did come!
The hotel is excellent
Staff very helpful, close to great eating and shopping, no problems with French/English. Canada Dollars are cheap! Would go back tomorrow.
Comfortable Easy access Safe
It is not possible to use the minibar to store food. Only for hotel products. This limitation is difficult when traveling with children. The cost for parking is high and there's no option.
Clean up the street ; not your fault, but still a mess.
Coffee in the room No tea Powdered milk in package
Close to VIA train and bus stop which heading to airport.
The floor's room is sticky
Location Room size Nespresso coffee machine Very clean
Pillows- hotel needs to upgrade them, would have made our sleep more enjoyable. Duvets- Ikea duvets don't cut it... Called reception twice for an extra robe and still waiting for it
I liked the decor of the lobby and the proximity to stores and the train. The room was pretty nice and comfortable. The staff was nice as well.
We stayed in a renovated room which was lovely and clean. The staff was also excellent. Very helpful! And it was close to the Bell Centre which was fantastic for our journey to see Justin Timberlake perform!
There was no electrical outlet that I could see for the hair dryer by the mirror outside the bathroom.
liked the location liked the size of room cleanliness
fact did not disclose all the additional taxes the old curled run down floor carpeting fact did not disclose that a major project was going on across the hotel never gave us a choice on the room location
The terrace, lobby, washrooms, fitness room and courteous staff.
Located very close to the Bell Center, which we wanted. Shopping, eating are also very close by.
We hated driving to the motel, locals in Quebec are not ones to give tourists (we are from Nova Scotia) a chance to switch lanes at the last minute, as we did not know which way to go, a few times. The lines and arrows on the road need to be painted desperately to help with this kind of trouble, as there weren't any!!!!
Staff was great, helpful and always ready to give sound advice on sites and places to eat. Nice, Nice Nice. Location was in the mid-town section close to the metro and many eateries.
The room has seen better days. Beds were like sleeping in quick sand. Parking fees were expensive.
Definitely not the same service quality as in Europe.
The customer service was out of this world ! Kudos Novotel !!
