Hotel Montréal Centrale  

Central location next to the bus station and fair price for a night's city stay and for younger people that look for something like a good hostel. Lively and welcoming though. Staff was nice.

It is basically a Hostel not a hotel, something that is not so obvious when you book. The noise from the bus station and from people that stay in is high and the rooms are not made for comfort (even the "Superior" room we booked). So don't expect nothing more than a nice little Hostel.

Heed these words : do not go to this hotel.it is a complete and utter waste of your money that is if you are not a backpacker and do not mind living in a shady part of Montreal with drunk people swaying around the place no shopping ,graffiti scrawled walls and an utterly miserable experience altogether. But if you like living in 'edgy' and 'griity' 'full of character' place by all means go here.apart from the location and the dismal view( parking lot) the non existent breakfast the staff was friendly enough.

The location was excellent. The jacuzzzi was relaxing however the shower part wasn't all that great and the bathroom was small.

We arrived on a Friday evening and was informed that on Fridays they offered a free meal followed by a show with a local group from Montreal. We felt wellcome at this wonderful city with such a warm reception. This hotel is recommended for young people or for those who enjoy being with them. You will never feel lonely, there is always somebody to talk to. The location is excellent. Although it is next to a bus station it was not noisy at all.It is very clean and the staff very helpful.

Personnel jeune, accueillant, disponible. Emplacememt ideal pour decouvrir le centre-ville en raison de la proximite immediate de la station de metro Berri-UQAM. Petit-dejeuner modeste> Bon rapport qualite-prix.

Notre chambre donnait sur la gare centrale d'autobus de Montreal, donc beaucoup de bruit depuis le petit matin (tres tot) jusqu'au soir tres tard (les autobus font tourner les moteurs en permanence).

Vriendelijk jong personeel. Redelijke locatie ten opzichte van het centrum, echter er zijn betere buurten. Veel zwervers in de nabije omgeving. Naast een bus station gelegen, waarvan de herie de gehele nacht goed hoorbaar is, gemiddeld staan er zo'n 6 bussen klaar voor vertrek. Daarnaast ligt een parkje/festival terrein. Het ontbijt is basic. Het hotel is een hostel. Aan de prijzen te zien blijkbaar een bovengemiddeld hostel en trekt dito publiek aan. De hotelrust is er niet te vinden. De kamer was goed en redelijk schoon. Voor een bezoek aan montreal indien een hotel gewenst is zou ik eerder een andere buurt aanraden.

Le buffet du déjeuner est à améliorer. On devrait proposer du vrai lait au lieu du lait en poudre!

Heel handig wifi en er staan laptops. Er is een keuken waar iedereen gebruik van mag magen. Dus prima om een keer een pizza'tje op te warmen als je niet uiteten wilt gaan. Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Je kunt fietsen huren en lokatie is erg centraal bij metro supermarkt en heel veel restaurantjes (Rue St Denis)

Wij verwachtten een hotel, maar dit is echt meer een hostel. Jong studenten publiek, wel gezellig, maar geeft ook geluidsoverlast.Het ligt naast een busstation, wat ook 's nachts wel gehorig is. En in het weekend hoor je letterlijk iedereen na het stappen binnenkomen.
