We stayed four nights at Le Marquis Motel which has more of a bed and breackfast (auberge) feel. Not only were the rooms spotless and quiet, but the bed was excellent, the duvet freshly cleaned, the free breackfast offered a variety of home-made breads and brioches, cheese and fruit. The owners are very friendly and attentive, the guests I met were mature couples and families. We highly recommend this motel and look forward to returning when in Trois Rivières.

the host was very pleasant, despite the fact that we did not speak any french! He tried to tell us where to go for dinner, what are the sights to see in that area. During breakfast, he and his wife made sure that we had lots to eat and keep refilling the table even though we were the only ones there! it is a little far away from downtown.

We chose Le Marquis based on previous comments on this site. We were not at all disappointed. Small renovated motel, very clean, owners very nice and efficient.Five minute walk thru residential area to view St Lawrence seaway. Many international French guests. A convivial atmosphere away from motel strips or downtown fuss. The coyote motif on the duvet cover!! Made up for by clean crisp smelling linens!

Could make a reservation the night before arrival. Proprietor was obnoxious, rude, and quite clear about his displeasure at having to provide pillowcases. The buffet breakfast was sparse, pre packaged, and appeared to have been purchased at the local discount market. Nothing was freshly prepared. Contrary to previous reviewer comments, this "buffet" was far worse than anything stateside.Sheets did not fit the bed and were bunched around us all night. After the conflict trying to get pillowcases, we decided to live with it. Only four units were occupied, and now we know why. Wouldn't stay here again if it was free. Couldn't wait to leave and never come back. Will report our experience on Trip Advisor that rated this as the best local hotel!

It is a family business and there is great attention to cleanliness and overall care. The rooms are small but perfect for a couple or small family. Best of all there are duvets not your typical paper thin quilt found in most hotels. Overall would recommend.

The staff was very friendly. Although basic, the room was immaculate. The bathroom looked like it might have been recently remodeled. Breakfast was great. A great deal all around! The walls are a little thin. We could hear the people in the room next door, but eventually they went to bed and all was quiet.

The manager was very friendly and made sure that we had a place to store our bicycles. It was very convinient for us since it was located near the final destination to my Ride to Conquer Cancer site.

Our plans changed on account of bad weather and I emailed the hotel one day before arrival that we would only stay one night instead of three. Some hotels make trouble in this situation but here is was handled very nice. Nice clean rooms and very close to historic Quebec. Breakfast with great service, fresh fruit.

Un endroit a recommander absolument! Un motel comme celui ci il n'y en a pas beaucoup, des personnes très accueillantes! Des chambres trés propres, bien équipées, avec des couettes tellement confortable qu'on voudrait dormir plus longtemps! Un super petit déjeuner.....que dire de plus et tout ça pour un prix plus que resonnable!!! Une adresse à ne pas oublier!!

Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Accueil chaleureux, Propreté des lieux. Quiétude. Une première expérience très agréable à ce motel (l'an passé) m'a incité à y retourner cette année et je n'ai pas été déçu. D'ailleurs, j'ai déjà effectué deux réservations en vue de mes prochains passages dans la région (fin mai et début septembre).

Le couple de suisse qui tient l'établissement est gentil et serviable. Rien a redire à propos de la propreté de la chambre. Maintenant, adresse à déconseiller pour les gens ne disposant pas d'un véhicule. C'est loin du centre ville. Petit dejeuné copieux. Maintenant, cela reste un motel... Bref, bon rapport qualité prix si on a loué une voiture!
