Location was good. Close to everything!
Cleanliness was poor. Floors were dirty...I would not get in the dirty looking tub. Hair dryer nor working. Kettle kept shorting out.
Convenient to lifts and the village. Good locker storage for snow equipment.
Parking is too expensive. Near a bar so be prepared to be woken up by drunks at night if your room is adjacent to The Keg. We had a few nights where they were loud at 1:30am and 2:45am.
It was located in the village
The check in person had no idea what they were doing. Open parking spaces yet assigned a space for extreme small cars only. Bathroom had crack toilet and cracked and broken bathtub. Front door stuck.
Room was nice, private sauna, outdoor pool, close to everything.
The bed was horribly uncomfortable and room pricing was insane. The front desk is located in a building about half a block away which makes checking in and out a hassle. A different hotel has a front desk in the lobby of this hotel and was staffed with someone who was fairly rude. Not executives fault though.
The hotel is located in the heart of the village.
The location for check-in/check-out is located in a different building than the hotel itself and creates a bit of confusion.
location was good, very close to everything
Good location and staff were definitely pleasant and helpful. No complaints about our service standard.
Pretty unclean in unseen areas. Under the sofa, behind banquette etc. Upstairs gets impossibly hot due to hot air rising
Location is great if you like the village
-Beds are similar to a couch bed. -Very noisy -Damp and stinky -So small it feels like a camping trailer.
The location is excellent and the rooms and facilities are good.
The strange reception setup. Rooms could use some more sound proofing.
Despite confusing hotel set up (see below) staff were very helpful in sorting out problems.
Very confusing effectively having two hotels operating out of the same building. It made checking in and out fat harder.
Murphy Wall bed
Pull down beds should be mentioned and everything over priced considerably! Having to check into a hotel around the block from where the hotel actually is. Bad mannered staff!!
Kitchenette and bed was nice
Staff didnt seem to care about our stay or comfort. They werent rude but they didnt care to acknowledge us, help us with luggage or guide us with anything. We figured everything out ourselves and definitely will not be returning. Also, we had to check into one building and drag our heavy luggage across the street in the rain into another building.
- good location in the village - clean room equipped with a kitchen - good pool
- Check in was very strange and confusing. We arrived at the hotel but had to check in at another location. It wasn't a smooth process. - Housekeeping didn't come to clean or replace our dirty towels. I had to call the front desk and ask them to please come do their job - our room faced the front entrance of the hotel and it was extremely noisy. Delivery trucks would come at 5 am and woke us up both nights. Very poor sleep - I used booking.com to reserve this hotel and the total price was much more expensive than I was told. Since it was a Friday the price was significantly more expensive. This was never expressed to me when I made the booking and paid the non-refundable deposit - wifi and parking also isn't included which is ridiculous for the amount of money you're paying to stay there. Lots of extra fees!
Great location in the center of Whistler Village. Very clean and comfortable.
The room was not clean, seemed it had not been dusted in Avery long time and there was something that had been spilled on wall above bed that never was cleaned either.
Location was right in the village, plenty close to shopping and restaurants
noise level after 1am, murphy bed, air conditioning was hard to find
kitchen. pool, location, spacious
bed not that comfortable. room to bright from outside lights, parking rates, pay for internet, cold water in morning shower
Good access and parking
The check in process was a bit confusing but the staff were helpful.
The room is clean and nice including many useful facilities.
The walls are thin and it's a little bit noisy in the late evening and early morning.
layout of space within; accommodated the six of us well when eating together; had two suites for sleeping comfort. location to village was excellent.
air conditioning kept lower level almost too cold, but loft remained warm, stuffy until around 4:30am
Good location once found. Mountainside was the hotel name given in the booking but I got blank looks when asking for directions as locals know the hotel as Executive!
Confusion over name & indiscreet signage. GPS had difficulty too.
For a girls weekend the rooms were great. We stayed in a loft suite which had full kitchen and two bathrooms! The pool area was great and not overly crowded despite it being a busy weekend. The location is also prime for wandering the village, coming back to the room for a break etc.
That all hotel business is dealt with in a different building. I knew this ahead of time and it wasn't a big deal for check-in and check-out. However it became extremely frustrating when our keys didn't work. One of our keys never worked from the beginning so I went back to get it re-keyed. Then later another of our keys stopped working. I couldn't be bothered to get that one re-keyed. My trips back and forth were wasting my precious vacation time, so we continued the weekend on one key per room. They have a front desk in the hotel but it's only for the timeshare portion of the building and they don't share ANY duties. They couldn't even re-key my key, and when I asked for a sewing kit I had to beg. The gentlemen at the timeshare desk generously gave me one but I knew he wasn't supposed to. I shouldn't have to walk a block for re-keys and small toiletries! Executive Inn should re-consider this set-up.
