The price with that location is fair
the room is too small for big group of people
I liked the grounds. It's located in a nice, mature area. The pool is clean. The suites are a good size and clean.
I thought the upkeep of the exterior part of the chalets was poor. There was a lot of rust on the doors and porches and a lot of spider webs.
Kitchen Living room arrangement Decor Bathroom Cleanliness
Bed was a bit too firm
Every thing l like
close to village full kitchen parking 2 bathrooms
Pull out couch was unusable for sleeping (totally worn out; springs poking kids through paper thin mattress) - we needed 3 beds! Having 3 beds was why we booked this accommodation. Not the cleanest Had a problem with big, black ants Screen door covered in webs; didn't therefore use deck at all. Sheets/blankets kept on floor of closet rather than on shelf (not the cleanest storage) One person at front desk on check-in - slow; people getting annoyed in line No blinds on large loft window so always too much light coming in for sleeping Air conditioning didn't work; would not have been impressed if it was a hot weekend
Location and Shelter bus
Sleeping on Sofa Bed and main medroom THe mattress poot quality
Room had dog/cat hair all over
Everything,... very quiet cozy suite
I liked location and privacy..lofts are pretty spacious
The carpet and floors were dirty...
Rust stains on the outside... Metal supports rusting out... Peeling paint.... Hot tub was cool and merkey..
Inside of units nice and clean
Outside dirty windows and needs coat of paint. Screens and windows where broken
Iocation Bed quality Kitchen fully equipped
Expensive room No one came to make the bed Balcony furniture was dirty You are expected to empty your own garbage and start the washer
Loft option with 2 bathrooms was very nice. The location of the resort was very convenient.
The air conditioner stopped working our first night and the staff told us we just didnt turn it on right. But we did turn it on right because it did work for a few hours and we tried everything to make it work. I think they should have given us a discount since they didnt provide what was promised.
rooms were clean and tidy. we liked the 2 bedroom with king bed. the kids liked the loft. the unit we stayed in was nice. good location along main road, close to blue mountain village, scenic caves and city of collingwood. parking right in front of condo.
got lost at first to find the place. the google map directions were misleading. the signage for the resort was not well lit. can easily drive by the place. the phones in room don't work. I did not like the $500 security deposit. other hotels i stayed at do not ask for this. when we called the front desk by cell, no one answered. we gave up after a few tries. staff at the front desk was polite but did not seem too friendly. a smile would help. weak wi-fi or no wi-fi reception. fruit flies around the broom closet where the garbage was. carpet needs a good cleaning. exterior of the place could use a fresh coat of paint.
The shuttle service, the location of the facility. The kitchen was fully equipped. The two bathrooms was real nice. The place was clean and we felt very comfortable.
The phone was not working, no Wi-Fi, no cable, .The fact that the second floor did not have a TV. We did not like that we were not told of the security deposit when we had called several times inquiring about the facility.
Liked the space in the studio condo and the staff was pleasant.
The appliances were outdated and some had mold. One of the air conditioners in our unit wasn't working and we were there in August. It shows that it's 0.8 km from the village but it's much further. Had to drive to and from the village when we were hoping to walk.
It was very close to the blue mountain village, had a great time hiking and doing other activities at the village. Balcony view was nice, washrooms and kitchen clean and everything was avalible in the kitchen.
Didn't like the bed too hard and mattress very dirty, blanket looked very old and worn out. Sofa riped at top and didn't look appealing to sit. Backyard chairs were very dirty from rain water. Room was dusty everywhere.
Excellent Location - set in nature area. Kitchen is set with everything you need to make a meal. Several groceries stores in nearby Collingwood. Small public beach nearby. Overall is nice relaxing stay.
The toilet seat is old and unpleasant looking. The sofa bed is not comfortable, but bed was ok. The staff in the office could be more polite.
The fruit flies in the condo. The caked on black dust on the ceiling fan. The mold on the shower curtains. The understaffed front office.
Mattress very hard We did NOT like these issues. Fitted sheet too small for the double mattress and would not go or stay under the corners Mugs darkly tea stained and all of them gross needing javax bleach No coffee maker to make coffee Kettle had hard water flakes completely inside and flaking into attempts to fill it for tea. No complimentary coffe or tea Carpet had clay chunks in a few spots Not a comfortable stay at all for me as we were up early to sell again Elvis memorabilua and clothes, jackets etc. And we had bad sleeps. Coming to Collingwood 11 years now!
All above noted issues that made our stay uncomfortable.
Bed not comfy, room smaller than advertized, no available staff on phones at all times, neighbours were too noisy midnight to early morning rules were not honoured by neighbours about noise after 11 pmq
We stayed at the studio loft. It was beautiful. We loved the fact that we has privacy and our own little deck. When we woke up in the morning, we can see the mountains from our window. Which was a nice view. The front desk receptionist was amazing and very friendly. It was a quiet area and the location was very close to the village (1 min drive). The room was very pretty and felt very homey.
We noticed that 2 of the shutters on the blinds were already broken as we arrived, as well as a knob from the dresser. Considering we spent a good amount of money we didn't expect this. We also had to make sure to dump out all our garbage which was fine, but didn't see any garbage bins close to us. The hot water also ran out very quickly. We had to wait around for the hot water to come back and then take a shower. There is also no phone included in the rooms, meaning if we had to call we have to use our cell phones which for me was long distance charges. It also took a long time to get to front desk. I tried calling to inform them about the broken shutter as soon as we got there but it went to voicemail after holding for a while.
There was no housekeeping that I saw. We stayed 3 days and not once were we asked if we needed anything. There was 2 towels when we arrived, and that had to last.
Great location, easy booking
Resort need some update, sample Reno and better bed.
