Quiet, off the highway locally owned location. No unwanted frills that are costly and not necessary. Although we only stopped one night, we enjoyed a very well maintained motel with well equipped kitchen, sparkling bathroom and convenient parking. Comfortable for anyone who wants to stay longer and do their own cooking. The proprietor was cheerful and helpful. We saw signs of numerous repeat users who new a good place to stop over. We will choose this motel again when needed.
Mobility challenged seniors like us would appreciate an assist handle in the bath/shower.
Inside the room was very good and spotless
The out side of the building left a lot to be desired, could put some people off as they arrive.
- location - nice and quiet - fairly close to downtown - friendly staff
- beds need replacing, might be original - wifi was sketchy
Room was clean
Room is set up for workers maximum bed stuffed in to the room. Trucker drivers and other workers leaving very early in the morning. Truckers were allowed to park right beside the rooms and workers driving diesel trucks starting around 3:00 am Building very old looking however it was clean
The staff - both the owner and the young woman who cleaned rooms (and fed an amazing raven so it felt at home nearby) were wonderful.
The room was adequate, but poorly furnished. There were two big tables and a couch and second bed crowding the room. The kitchen was complete, but in a very small area. Generally it did not seem very clean.
Wy-Fi didn't work Room was small and cramped as was the bathroom The facility looked rundown
It was clean and the staff were very friendly. We were offered a free upgraded room with a kitchen, however, the A/C didn't work in that room so we had to move to a different room.
We had to switch rooms from the first room that we had because the A/C didn't work. We also discovered that the staff don't always clean the rooms when people check out.
Smelled like urine, pretty sure bathroom hadn't been cleaned, hairs everywhere, just put in clean towels. Fridge quit and ruined food we had in it. Office smelled nasty too.
Loved that the motel was a family-run facility. It had that homey feel about it.
We got a pretty cheap room and were upgraded to a room with a nice kitchenette. The rooms was clean and comfortable and very modern from the inside.
From the outside the motel seems it is very old, but the interior is very nice. Wifi reception in the room is low, we had to be close to the window to get a better signal.
Very nicely renovated room. Great attention to detail.
Get for what you pay.
Nothing to like
It was like the motel out of a bad dream or horror movie
Owner/operator friendly and helpful at check in and check out. Older place, a little worn around the edges but clean and well equipped rooms. Rooms decent size, new microwaves, good sized fridge and handy coffee maker. It was quiet at night, my 6 year old son and I were comfortable and felt safe here even though it did seem in need of a few touch ups.
Water pressure in sink better than shower
Reasonably priced and handy to downtown. Staff were polite and obliging. OZ
Good value, clean and family run.
Close to Hwy 1, WI-fi worked well, We had the kitchenette and really appreciated it. It was very tiny, but great to have the fridge and sink. Bathroom was very clean. Very pleasant staff.
The window air-conditioner was on, but did not work to cool off the room. The outside was cooler than the inside. In the room was a little portable fan that we kept on just to keep the air moving. I can't say all the rooms had this problem, but it was unfortunate we did.
We booked a room with 2 beds and they gave us a room with 3 beds as we traveled with a 10 year old child. Owner was very nice and helpful. The room was out dated but with a small kitchen if you would like to cook simple meals. I hightly recommend this motel for budget tight travellers.
Room had a small kitchen, we'll stocked with basics (utensils, flatware, dishes, real mugs, etc. I was expecting a bare-bones room. Not so. They provided all the essentials. And check out the lovely courthouse behind the motel - it has a beautiful dome.
The room was set to accommodate up to five people, including a single bed , which left a very narrow space to walk through to get to kitchen and bath, but this was a minor inconvenience for me.
It's cheap and it's clean. It's not fancy but it's perfect for an overnight stay. The owners are really friendly.
full kitchen large fridge friendly staff
Cost and Location It had exactly what we wanted for an overnight motel
Very friendly front desk man. I like the flexible check-out time. The room had all the basic amenities.
Basic drive-up motel. Unfortunately in the morning when the neighbour left at 6am his loud diesel woke me up. This is not a fault of the facility but of this type of motel.
The little kitchenette was small but perfect. the bathroom was recently redone and was nice. the beds and blankets were so comfortable. i will be back!
