Enjoy a peaceful atmosphere only 10 minutes from the attractions of Vancouver city center at this modern hotel, which is at the base of the grand North Shore Mountains.
Score from 417 reviews Very good
Really easy to get to via train and bus from airport. Helpful staff with storage for bags till time for us to leave for evening flight home.
we found nothing we didn't like.
All of it. Pleased as son lives on same road.
Did not look too outdated for the price payed, big heater and decent shower
So close to night skiing at grousse mtn, they hire bikes too and its a fun ride over the lions gate bridge to Stanley park. Breakfast was great. Liked pancake machine
Great location which is convenient (walking distance) for West Vancouver, North Vancouver, Edgemont Village and Park Royal. Capilano, Grouse Mountain and Cleveland Adam are all also within walking distance but a bit further. Downtown City is easily accessible via Bus and/or Seabus within about 30 minutes!
Other than its location i do not have anything i like about this hotel.
The Carpet is not clean The heater does not work. Had to use the portable one. the breakfast staff is not friendly. the room is small.
Pleasantly surprised by the facilities, very clean, well equipped and comfortable.
The breakfast was stated as complimentary however it turns out that it costs $5 a day. This contradicts the signage at the hotel and the website. Also, $5 a day was a little expensive for what was offered as the facilities were very basic and not too fulfilling. There was also no milk supplied with the tea and coffee.
Room was clean and comfortable. Facilities were close to the areas I needed. Shopping centre 20 min walk. On a bus route and small shops and restaurants nearby. I would stay here again.
Australians like to have there tea hot the coffee machine does not do this or make hot coffee. Having to reheat stuff in microwave straight from coffee machine is not great. A proper kettle would be a good addition to the room. Also I would prefer room service for breakfast and would be happier to pay a decent amount rather than the cheaper buffet style.Should be an option.
Beds were clean and comfortable. Good wifi connection.
There was heavy mold on the bathroom walls, probably because there was not a working fan. Light bed covers resulted in a cold night's sleep. There was nowhere to sit and eat our breakfast ($5.00), we had to carry our plate and cup back to our room. Lots of traffic noise from our bedroom.
Reasonable breakfast for excellent price. Close to what I wanted to do and see. Great pizza shop across the road. Easy to use public transport to get there and everywhere..
Cleanliness, functionality and comfort could be best described as 'okay'. A typical overnight/passing through hotel providing a cheap (was equal cheapest hotel out of 9 we used) but perfectly adequate stopover. Close to the Horseshoe Ferry if, like us you are travelling to Vancouver Island.
Room a little tired
I don't think it is necessary to charge a pet fee on a daily basis, especially when I stayed 2 nights and I did not need cleaning service during the entirety of my stay.
We arrived very tired from UK and had requested a quiet room. We had one that was as far from the road as it could be and had an excellent sleep. We bought breakfast - excellent value for money. First visit just overnight, but on our return to Vancouver we were exploring the city. The staff allocated us another quiet room - they had remembered our first request - and as we were 'repeat bookings' they gave us a complimentary breakfast! Overall, the location was easy to access from the city (outside of the rush hours) and we were impressed with the service.
The breakfast was excellent.
Location is good for ferry crossing to Vancouver Island. OK for a one night stay.
It is the best place to stay if you want to visit Boing or it you have business with Boing. it is virtually right next door in walking distance (<5min)
A pretty standard North American motel style hotel. We spent two nights there. Was quiet and we both slept well. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment on that. Room and bathroom clean enough but could do with a refurb or steam clean of floors. We found reasonable food (Earls) within 10 minutes walking distance on Marine Drive. We also visited Capilano and Stanley Park which are both a short drive away.
The hotel is pretty much what my husband and i were looking for. A decent priced place close to vancouver. Its right next to a busy street, but i didnt really hear any of the cars. the beds were really comfy!
It was hard to see which channels we could watch The rooms are a little small Breakfast buffet kept running out of food
Great proximity to Vancouver tourist attractions at less than half the price of downtown hotels.
Cleanliness issues in the bathroom.
A/c , bike hire, breakfast
Can be a little noisy, on main road
The location was great for where we needed to travel. Right near the Lion's Gate Bridge, allowed us to get to and from downtown quickly as well as walk to Stanley park (30 mins). 15 min drive to Grouse Mountain For the price we booked it was a great deal. Pool looked nice
Beds were a slightly uncomfortable, however luckily we had two beds to choose from and the bed away from the tv was better to sleep on. The back gate is locked after midnight which we found out the hard way. Doesn't have a gym but is near a Steve Nash fitness Centre
Easy to find and get to coming over Lions Gate bridge
A little run down but still clean and comfortable
Great for us but not in Vancouver proper. Get a daily travel ticket and use seabus, bus and skt train. It's easy and good fun.
Desk man was nice.
I'm sure all would agree . We spent 4 nights there and had the continental breakfast. The selection was great...at times they ran out of coffee cups and if you expect to get anything at 9 am ...well if you snooze you loose. anyway the biggie is the door going in and out from the outdoor dining. This area is very poorly setup; people bumping into each other . there is no reasoning that has gone into this set up.
