“ Pretty much everything was ideal - couldn't have asked for better. And no curfew - the front desk was open all night, which meant I could check in anytime. I checked in at 11:00 p.m. excellent. Convenient. And it was quiet. I just wanted a good night's sleep and I got one! Thanks, David ”

Location, price, staff, quiet, student environment The bathroom is so small and the shower area is so tight. If you stretch a little bit your body touches the tiles. A bit uncomfortable to have a nice bath but you get what you paid for!

It's in a great location and good value Having a lounge/kitchen area was one of the reasons we booked here, but there was no cutlery or glasses which meant it was quite useless. Also when booking it said free wifi, which wasn't entirely true, having very poor connecting wifi only in the cafe or 22nd floor meant we had to leave the building and find wifi elsewhere.

It was downtown and very inexpensive. Not very private or comfortable, at it's best if you actually won't be spending too much time there.

Location, staff The wifi doesn't work, and it wasn't a glitch, as the staff told me 'it just goes in and out'. This is not good enough. If you advertise that the hotel offers wifi the connection needs to work consistently. I would remove this provider from Booking.com or I would state that they do not offer wifi. Also the toilets were blocked and even after three days they had not resolved this issue, and didn't seem concerned at all about resolving it. Again, this is unacceptable. Basics like toilets need to work even in cheap accommodation. I really don't like hotels taking my money when they haven't provided the basics of life such as toilets, and taking my money when I have bought the room on the basis of having wifi access, and then finding that they don't provide a reliable connection. Another hotel you work with is in this category. They are in LA and it's called Adventurer/Tradewinds. I have had such bad experiences there with wifi (doesn't work) and the standards of cleanliness - ie. it's the worst/dirtiest hostel I've ever stayed in. I would urge you to remove Adventurer from your listings.

Great location. Right in the heart of Toronto. The rooms are perfectly adequate. They were clean and very close to the washrooms/showers. Also, a decent breakfast was served. I did not like the staff at the front desk - especially the security. I found them to be very unfriendly and unprofessional. Once when I entered, a security guard barked at me to show my key. She could have said, "Hello, may I see your key?" But no. Instead she just said, "Your key." She treated me like an intruder. I felt like I was back in nyc. Another front-desk person was clearly annoyed when I asked him a question. I had obviously interrupted his internet browsing session.

Almost everything. The soap which was provided was too small. I had to look for a store to buy additional. One towel was not enough for me.

The staff was friendly and the cost of the room was great. I also enjoyed that there was free breakfast with my room cost. I did not like how I had to share the bathroom with more than one person.

I had a great experience! Fairly friendly staff. Definitely great for the price! The breakfast was fantastic too! Didn't even expect a continental breakfast. Overall great experience. It was slightly sketch. I was kind of worried about the cleanliness of my room and bed, and with a late check-out time I kind of expected it to be much cleaner than it was.

Location, roof deck We had a mouse in our room, it woke us up in the morning..... We have been told by staff it's normal. Fire alarm woke us up 5am, we had to wait for firemen to come, than we could go back to rooms. Our room was very small (didn't even have promised table), wifi connection on 22nd floor didn't work at all, on the ground floor worked time to time, very slow. Both toilets in our section were clogged few times during our stay, room was incredibly hot... We didn't sleep well even one night out of four, I would never come back again.

If you are looking for a cheap accomodation in the very downtown this hotel is perfect. Moreover, is a perfect place for meeting new people. The corridor (at least floor 14th) was badly stinking, and the room was not clean at all.

The location and value for the money is impressive. I met many people from all over the world which was also interesting. The view from the roof top deck and the BBQ's for customer use are a nice feature. I have stayed here a number of times and will continue to do so on my trips to Toronto. The rooms do not provide a lamp for reading or for the convenience of turning off from the bed.

It was conveniently located in the downtown area with a lot of shopping and restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A great place to stay for a good value.
