no wifi in rooms
You get a good breakfast in the AM It was very close to a buskers which was awesome
It was a Teeny room with old mattresses that weren't particularly clean. The bathroom was enough to only use toilet and brush teeth, no shower. I didn't feel especially safe, although we had no problems
Despite being able to provide email confirmation of my booking, credit card details and timed details of when I placed the booking I was not allowed to check in because I didn't have any photo ID. Therefore, I was not allowed to check in and was left in a very compromising position in Toronto for the night. This was distressing and outrageous, especially to a lone female traveller with little knowledge of the city. The level of information I presented to prove I had made the booking is all that is needed in the UK but the staff appeared to be working on a guilty until proven innocent basis, so because of the treatment I received I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Downtown; CHEAP; warm showers; quiet
Sketchy neighborhood; No early checkout; Room was tiny; furniture and furnishings very poor.
Stunning view of Toronto downtown. The included breakfast is quite good.
I was disappointed that in room wifi was not included with the cost of the room. (There is free wifi in the cafeteria and the student lounge.)
Love the location.. Will stay there again...
The mattress was very hard and very lumpy. The wires could be felt when i slept. Very dickensian.
Very good location; Some good facilities of kitchem;
No TV option; Not good quality of clean on shared bathroons; No room services; Staff not so friendly.
Good location, very close to the downtown of Toronto by walk. Good if you want to save some moneys and you don´t care about comfort or quality of services.
Room very small and with few facilities. One of the bad was broken so it was hard to sleep on it.
The. Cafe staff were very good. The security. Very rude and unfriendly. Booking. Com booked us as we requested till the 26th. Neil wycik sent us packing on the 25th. Saying it was their last day. What if we had nowhere else to go as tourists. The corridors. Lifts. Washrooms. We're always dirty.
I've said it all
we felt safe staff very helpful free breakfast
dirty shared washrooms uncomfortable beds cramped rooms noisy late at night
The hotel staff were the most helpfull, nicest people! Great location for a great price ;)
Bathroom was dirty like at 6am but when I went back around 9am it had already been cleaned!
No free wifi in rooms, just in ground floor Very dirty stained floors inside rooms No shower inside rooms, shared bathroom and shower No amenities inside rooms other than beds No shower gels inside showers Dirty corridors Impolite sarcastic staffs
- friendly staff - frequent house cleaning - kitchen available - location - comfortable bed - price matched the value
- noise from outside - dusty room - (occasionally) dirty showers
Ideal for the view and location
Minimum of hygiene is required, really dead mice in the kitchen?
The bed wasn't made when we arrived (we arrived at 7pm)
The place is close to a main street, supermarkets and to a subway station. Staff at the front desk was very helpful.
The room, the kitchen and the bathrooms didn't look like at the photos on the website. There were no signs of cleaning of our room either before our arrival or during our six-day stay. The only changes in the washroom were new supplies of toilet paper. The low price is not attractive when the place is so dirty.
Very good price for the location. Slept on a cot that was very uncomfortable. Location and price are great, but that's about it. You get what you pay for.
The price, and the friendly staff at the front desk and in the cafeteria. The location is not too far from the street-cars and subway.
The room was not made up when I checked in. There were no soap and no cups in the room. The situation was not rectified even after I pointed it out to the front desk. The carpets and elevators are dirty, even though the carpets had apparently been cleaned the previous week. The drain in one of the showers was blocked/slow, so one had to shower in dirty standing water.
The staff were very helpful when it came to helping us find our way.
The room was dreary and the Windows and curtains were not very clean. The doors were hard to open, and gets stuck. Breakfast was not sufficient had to share 4 items between 2 people.
Location was about five minutes from Dundas square.. awesome
Dusty, bathrooms were dirty, didn't feel like I could walk around barefoot
Location. We were alone in our unit for most of our stay. Staff at the counter downstairs was polite and helpful.
Obviously, not for the comfort minded people. Bare minimum and experienced cleaning staff should teach how to do a good job to those hired by the N-W College Residence.
