basic, but clean room. relatively cheap for Toronto, good location close to the university (St. George).
Kitchen has no cooking utensils, no cutlery/cups/pots/pans/kettle etc, so there is no way to cook (or even make tea/coffee) if you don't bring or buy what you need. Also, there is no sink in the room (just a bed, drawer, and desk).
Even if the bathrooms are shared, the shower rooms are spacious and has its own doors, meaning there is privacy. I like the location , because it is quiet and peaceful even if it is beside the bus stop.
Nothing, but I only recommend this to solo travelers or for people who wanted their own rooms
the reception is on the opposite of the building and is not easy to find. It is No. 40 for the reception, keep in mind!
Price Location Wi-fi ( in building 45)
Door let in more light than I would like. Check in process was a bit unclear in regard to elevator, siwpe, key usage
Great location Convenient Pretty cheap Secure Friendly staff Quiet in halls/common area Very quiet room Free Internet Clean bathroom Clean room Clean commons area Good space (Desk, Dresser, etc.) Comfortable Big window with beautiful view
It was near one of stops of street cars, and by street cars 3 minute to subway station. It was really close yo university of toronto. I somebody does not want to spend alot of money on staying in toronto it is recomended.
It was not that clean. And the room was small. The room did not have iron facilities that was important. There was another room in any floor tgat has iron facilities and washing machine. Generally it was very usual one.
Nothing. This is not even worth a basic camping.
Worst stay of my life (a week). This is a real dump! Air conditioning was not working properly, it was so hot in the room all the time compared to the perfect air conditioning in the corridor! Around 30 degrees in the rooms, so that the students here keep their door open even by night! The common bathrooms/restrooms are cleaned only once a week, a shame. You could find pee and shit everyday on the toilets and around them. I came back home with fungus on my foots and I can't tolerate that. Students living in this place are dirty, cold and mainly unpolite so don't think you will meet any people their. Very cold staff also. You are supposed to be able to use the fridge but it was always full and dirty. Also the students here do not clean the kitchen when leaving most of the time. Noisy at times during the evening and night. The student bar is just down the building, what a nonsense! They were not making any discount for student as they were supposed to (check their website!)
This is poor as comfort, but if you stay only couple nights - a special for business reasons - is very good choice!! Location is close to downtown and a lot of attractions. Staff is very friendly, room is clean, but shared bathroom and toilet - you need to be ready! But for this price - it's very good
price, location, free internet, helpful reception
Central position in a young and fresh bild, I d recommend it to anyone looking for a practical solution, with good quality services!
Nothing to declare
when you choose a university residence, you behave like living in a university residence. be a worry-free student and stop complaining, cos it is just cheap.
Reasonable rates Privacy
Clean room, very reasonable. Staff friendly and helpful. Goid location, streetcar just outside door.
Only 3 showers between whole floor, which I think has 38 rooms and one shower was broken.
I liked the staffs and also the location for a resonable price ,
It was clean and nice! for that price, it was a good one!
It was fairly quiet. The location was great.
The keys to the rooms do not function properly. It took a great deal of patience and repetition to unlock the doors to our rooms. Sometimes guests had to go down to the reception area to get help. Since we were using common bathrooms located in the hall, sometimes that meant going to the reception desk in inappropriate clothing with wet hair and a towel around the neck.
Best value for money I could find in TO.
Check only after 3PM.
Free internet, common kitchen with TV, almost downtown, Kessington Market nearby 10-15 mins walk, amazing views from the room especially at night.
Room very basic but I already knew that. Facilities are a bit tired but still good value for money.
The staff is very polite and welcoming. The room is clean, clean bed sheets and pillow sheets. Too many towels in the washroom which make it very convenient.
If you check in after 10 pm, the buzzer is very loud. The coffee machine in the room was dirty with a used coffee bag kept inside.
Overall I like it.
The wall is too thin and the bed is too close to the door. So while I was sleeping, I can hear people walking, talking, and closing the doors. It was quite noisy
Spacious rooms, street car station right next to the building, clean showers and toilets, great value for the money
A good option if you don't want to spend a lot of money on the hotel.
It's basically a dorm.
location - right on campus - i hope they continue to let to public - and cleaning staff were on every day (great) - although wish they gave us brooms in room to keep room clean
student party last night - lots of noise in hall - i am an older academic - so they need to put like with like I think i.e. possibly ask for age and purpose in the booking
