able book two rooms next to each other for family group
Had to ask for heat, and ultimately a heater and extra blanket as both rooms were chilly. Bathroom floor was dirty: something spilled on it. Carpeting could stand cleaning. Two queen sized beds squeezed into room which was set up to accommodate two doubles. Bathtub could not be used as such as the plug did not seal, and therefore could not hold water. One end of towel rod came out of the wall and dropped. Glass shelving on such an angle that it couldn't be used to hold items. They literally slid off and fell. Windows to street and parking area had only minimal window coverings. We don't plan a return visit.
bed was comfortable, room pleasant
Room was small and bathroom smaller, no fridge or microwave and could not connect to internet
bed was springy but was expecting a queen bed
Location was fine, close to all the restaurants, and other facilities. Custodian was prompt at replacing the bathroom ceiling light, and very pleasant to chat with.
Bathroom, too small, no room to move around, like going into a closet. The bathroom window wouldn't close. The white linens were dingy and stained. The TV would not work and there was no WiFi available.
Room was great value for the money, especially for a short stay. Location was great; close to downtown Stratford and theatres. Our room at the back of the motel was very quiet. The room was small but clean. It also had two queen beds, which was what we needed and couldn't find in a B&B. We were able to book it last minute.
Absolutely not assessible. Cobwebs, spiders and strong smell coming from shower and sink drains. No cable...2 stations. Asked for additional blanket and towels that we did not receive. Mattress must have been 20 years old. Bed spread and shams had to be 25 years old. Great disappointmet. ADVICE: see room before check-in.
outside sitting area/green space. big window in room/inside door to room.
bed was a little hard
The fridge worked very well.
Dirty carpets, dirty shower with hair in it. The shower floor moves. Hard bed.
Good pressure on the shower Far cheaper than staying at a B&B
Too-soft mattress Uneven floor, even with carpeting No breakfast (I know - we signed up for this!)
The room was shabby. The carpet was dirty and should be replaced. For the price, a coffee machine in the room or coffee available at the office would be nice. There was nothing nearby. I would not stay there again, or recommend it to anyone else.
Location near theatre.
Too cramped. Bathroom too small. poor lighting outside at night.
no coffee maker
The location is perfect for the theatres
Size of room and lack of extras, such as hair drier.
The location was ideal as we were attending the Festival Theatre
The bathroom is extremely small but was clean. The air conditioner did not work very well and it was very hot in the room. There were dust mites in the air.
The yard set up was good. enjoyed being outside.
The size of bathroom and the floor felt like it would give in.
Easy check in and out; quiet atmosphere; comfortable bed; inexpensive for the location.
Tiny bathroom; too far to walk to events in town.
Location, outside grounds
The girl at the front desk was very knowledgable, friendly, and helpful.
The facilities would benefit from an update. The bathroom was not cleaned up to an acceptable standard. Considering the prices of hotels/B&Bs in Stratford, this hotel was inexpensive but the quality of the facilities was lacking.
Room availability on short notice and price not bad for theatre season. Walking distance to Avon and Festival theatres.
Run down bathroom, lumpy mattress, windows fit so poorly you can hear everything in the parking lot. OK for one night, wouldn't stay longer.
Location was the only thing good.
The toilet was cracked. The floor in the bath was ripped. The tap on the sink was loose. The blinds in the windows didn't work. There was dirt on the lamp and the clock radio. No garbage can in room other than bathroom. The sheets had small stains. I would pay extra to stay somewhere else next time.
Location for price was good
Bathroom was a little grubby
Staff was accommodating for the two rooms we rented. We had a babysitter with us and they were able to give us end rooms to prevent babies from waking guests. Good location.
Shower was minuscule and falling apart. Hotel shows signs of age, wear and tear.
It was close to the theater, we easily walked there. The young woman who checked us in was nice, and the cleaning staff was friendly.
The carpet was dirty, the door was hard to manage (opening and closing.)
Location Simple, adequate space Comfortable bed Easy access to green space outdoors Sizeable refrigerator Friendly reception without synthetic oozy charm
Price was high for what we got. Would have liked to have tea/coffee making facilities
