The cabin was more than what I was hoping for and was perfect for me and my children. LOVED the art in the cottage and around the property, the cinnamon buns were heaven, the hosts very friendly and helpful, and the property was peaceful and beautiful. When it was time to leave we were quite sad and were already looking forward to our next stay. Definitely recommend the log barn!!!
What wasn't to love? It is outside of town so it is extremely quiet. The cinnamon rolls for breakfast were huge & yummy. The room itself was very, very comfortable. The innkeeper was great & helpful. The room had tons of extra little touches that made it a wonderful place to come & stay. Many different toiletries to choose from in case you left anything at home. The bedding was comfy. I can't say enough good things. I want to come back over & over.
This was a wonderful overnight stay on our journey from Prince Rupert to Jasper, and was absolutely perfect for us as we like remote and quiet. We had a great welcome from Dagmar the owner, including a birthday card which was a very thoughtful touch, in addition to her infamous cinnamon buns which were extremely tasty. As it was my birthday, we were also upgraded from the Cowboy Cabin to the Old Logbarn which was very luxurious and had everything you could want even for a long stay. Would stay here again with no hesitation.
horses were a hit with children beautiful area
attention to detail
We loved everything about the place. I had stayed there previously, and knew that I wanted to come again with my partner and dog, but for an extended stay. It's completely quiet and beautiful and the watering hole is perfect to cool off in and relax by. It is a very comfortable atmosphere and very welcoming. Dagmar is an awesome lady who makes you feel like you are extended family. She goes out of her way to provide for you. We would not hesitate to come again.
When ever you are in Prince George, this is the place to stay. The Cottages are wonderful and the Ranch is simply unique and breathtaking. Thanks for having us Dagmar we really enjoyed the time on your Ranch, before rushing back to Whitehorse. Everything went well and we had a few more nice days in Vancouver before going back home to Germany. Greetings from Sally and Frank
The hospitality provided by Dagmar was unbelievable. You are taken care of from the moment you step foot on the ranch until you leave. The cabins are beautiful and every little detail is taken care of. You can truly relax, unwind and enjoy all Norton North has to offer. Staying at Norton North is a amazing experience, and one we highly recommend to everyone.
Beautiful location, we spent two nights there, the cabins are very well equipped and maintained
Cleaning products had a very strong odor. Something milder would be much better.
I've stayed here a couple of times and have to say there is no comparison in the area. Facilities are great and the hosts are wonderful
It was so peaceful and relaxing, the atmosphere was amazing. I am a caregiver and this was my self-care plus a Bday celebration with my partner.
I can't really say there was anything I disliked. Honestly it was a wonderful get away, the little touches that the hosts do makes it memorable. Homemade cinnamon buns, carrot cake, meat & cheese & fruit platter. The list goes on! Even when I exploded a bottle of bubbly in the cold snow bank, they even gave us another bottle of wine!
We loved our stay in "Little Muddy" and look forward to returning for a longer stay. The cabin was so comfortable and our host Dagmar was very welcoming and generous. The warm cinnamon rolls were much appreciated after a long drive! The ranch was beautiful in the snow - looking forward to seeing it again in the summer.
Very quite and off the main traffic road. lots of places to walk nearby.
The cabin had a poor description i was not aware that it did not have an oven and instead of a full fridge it only had a mine fridge. Most people like to stay in cabins so that they have the opportunity to have a home cooked meal. Utilities need to be available to do this. otherwise a hotel is suitable
Norton Ranch was the perfect countryside escape where I spent some long overdue quality time with my son. This peaceful, scenic and relaxing little gem is just a short drive outside of Prince George but with all the fresh air and country you can take in. I would highly recommend to anyone.
