Staff were good
Broken washing machine. Toaster set off the fire Alarm. Bed very small. TV kept-on having to be reset.
Location and decor. Staff very friendly.
Large. Location. Balcony. Supermarket opposite.
Worn. Dishwasher broken. Short of kitchen utensils.
Location, friendly staff
Thermostat too high, uncomfortable bed, washing machine didn't work
Well placed apartment, very comfortable, clean and well looked after.
Layout was very good Very comfortable and ample sitting area. Kitchen concept is excellent
Towels appear dirty because the whiteness seems to be fading The bathroom vanities and tiles are looking old and worn, perhaps an upgrade is needed
The air conditioning is a disaster. Very noisy and not effective in cooling down a western facing room on a hot summer day.
I love the vibe and the location of NUVO. I also found the starbuck next door to be a huge plus. Definitely going back for another stay
Loved the stay. Staff was friendly. And it was close to lots of resturants.
Not too much. Maybe a pool!
Very spacious and modern
Good location. Clean big room. Free wifi. Comfy bed.
Poorly designed room. Too hot at night. Needed air con blowing all night (heating was turned right down and pretty cold outside ). Poor light design.
Location to downtown. Like the size of suite. Felt very European. Good bed. Very important. Friendly staff
Noisy air conditioning unit. Shut it off and opened balcony door instead. Only one bathrobe for two of us. Internet kept on kicking out and tv lost signal. Un-requested service calls during the day while my wife was trying to work.
Wonderful staff, very hospitable and responded to concerns swiftly.
Apartment for four (4) not spacious enough for everybody's luggage and the wardrobe could barely contain our clothes; with very few hangers for clothes.
Downtown hotel, in the middlenof the action
Hotel parking is small and most guests have to pay for it.
Location, lounge seats and kitchen equipment
Noisy ac and blinds let outside light in too much
- Location - Modern setup - Washer/dryer availability - Kitchenette
- Portable A/C very noisy, under performing and leaking water - Washer / dryer not working - Parking space is a block away - Very difficult to find at night since there are no lighted signs.
I liked the retro look and feel of the hotel. It is in a great location and would be great for someone who has to stay more than a few days in Calgary.
While it was probably one of the hottest and most humid couple of days Calgary experienced all year, the air conditioner was a portable and not that effective. Lugging my suitcases up to the third floor wasn't fun either. The quality of sleep and comfort levels were definitely compromised due to the weather fctor
The location Very well stocked kitchen friendly front desk
first appearance (seemed a bit oppressive and dark) but the apartment was fine. Late night reveller wearing high heels on the hard floor.
Proximity to Ctrain transportation. Provision of complete kitchenware.
Air conditioning consisted of standalone machines on e of which was noisy and could not be left on at night which made sleeping difficult.
The location is good, you have Starbucks coffee around the corner as well as Super market, the city center is in walking distance. The room is well equipped with everything, from oven to dishwasher, from coffee machine to flat TV. Great internet in every room.
The parking costs extra and is located far from the hotel (across the street). In two different times we stayed there we had issues with the room: first time the shower water pressure was really bad and they gave us no solution, the second time the washing machine was broken but they gave us access to the hotel washing machine, looks like maintenance is not a strong thing. We came with the kids, the second bad (which we parents used) wasn't very good, we had hard time sleeping well. There is AC (mobile unit) - but its very loud even in minimum vent.
no elevator, parking away from the hotel
portable air condition did not work properly and room was muggy as was high temps outside so was very uncomfortable.
Nice apartments, good kitchens, comfy beds, only a short walk (15min or so) or a cheap taxi to Calgary centre and trains.
Tiny bathroom, balcony nice but just looked at a brick wall, air-con was incredibly loud and was just 2 standing fans placed in the room. A random person walked into our room around 8:30am - we assume it was a staff member as the doors have codes??
Great service - I was initially worried about the limited check in hours but they accommodated my late check in and were quick and clear in the emails back and forth with regards to my stay. I loved the room and the large balcony and kitchen. I've already booked my next stay.
