the location of the hotel was the best and the great linens bed was extremely comfortable but a bit small was kind of hoping for a king bed
the toilet our room was loose and it was asked to fixed they assured me in would be and it didn't get fix during our stay 3 nights we also were suppose to have a washer and dryer combo in our room but it was not their as it was in repair.. we also had major issues with the TV in the room it was very complicated even for myself as a desk clerk at another hotel our wifi was horrible we finally after about 10 times got connected to the wifi from the room next door I also wanted to get a wake up call set but the desk was closed but the time we got back to the hotel... was really hoping for a nice king bed.. we also were in a unit with a full kitchen and we cooked dinner first night and I went to cook chicken in a frying pan and it had no lid called down to the desk and they told it would be a minute so I waited over a half and hour and decided to cook my chicken in a pot as it had a lid
I liked that it was downtown and within walking distance to lots of places
Coffee wasn't good there was mold on the pillows loud could hear the neibour, felt like there was no privacy. No need for a kitchen suite.
My second time here. Good location. Fully equipped room. Strong wifi. Nice looking decor.
Towel warmer didn't work. Light in doorway didn't work. Blinds let light in when air moves them
Location very central...kitchen
Front desk staff are not very professional...bad attitudes
There is a grocery store across the street
No elevator my suitcase broke lugging it up 4 flights of stairs NO assistance is offered. Dirt inside the made bed suggests the sheets were not changed since some one else slept in the very old worn out bed.no washer/dryer anymore.even the robe was dirty there was a lighter in the pocket of a supposedly clean robe.front door is left unlock No Security. Parking is a 5 minute walk with NO Vale service.
The kitchen was good and the location was good
The hotel is a bit weird it is an old converted walk up apartment. When you walk it the entrance makes you feel like you are walking into a bit of a divey apartment.
Great 4 all type of tr
The hotel was able to provide all the basic amenities while avoiding the 'cookie cutter' reality of most hotels.
The parking is almost a block away, albeit in a secure covered, heated space.
Location, spacious suite, good price
Staff were prompt in responding to requests, room was clean, comfortable and convenient to the center of the city
Hotel is a converted apartment and the parking facilities had been rented out so you have to pay for parking a block away. Access to parking for the lobby is a loading zone so it's hit and miss and therefor extremely inconvenient. Door to the room isn't sound proof and poorly fitted so you hear everything in the hallway. Also extra charges for early arrival and late departure which discourages repeat business. If you can put up with the inconveniences the room is comfortable and the bed is great.
Full kitchen (dishwasher, stove, fridge, microwave) neighborhood with lots of amenities Safeway grocery across the street comfortable bed
fabric shower curtain! Yuck! needs a glass enclosure! -Alley way behind building was 2 am shortcut for garbage trucks -
Parking was very inconvenient. Room lacked humidity.
Fantastic bed, nice furniture & decor
Floors were cold
The whole room;)
I suggest that they should put door mat inside the room most specially winter :)
room 101 was not lit by much natural light as it is below ground level. However it was lit up at night by the external light coming through inadequate blinds. Also it is by the front door and was very noisy with people coming and going and the door banging
I could pay a fee to have the room for more hours on the departure day. I appreciated all the furniture for baby: high chair, and baby park.
No elevator and no help from staff, I had to ask if I could leave the stroller in the office, it was not suggested.
nice, clean room at a discount, booked last minute.
Really liked the staff. The location was very convenient for me and I enjoyed the contemporary feel of the room.
Great room w 2 beds, very creative use of space. Safeway grocery store accross street, perfect to buy cheaper breakfast (otherwise 15$). Good wifi.
No elevator 4 floors, not in dowtown core but walkable, parking 18$/day, view on brick wall but saves from street noise. No desk so not aimed at business travellers, although maybe other suites do. Provided coffee was tasteless.
everything was close
Ability to manage our meals effectively and independently. Convenience of grocery store in area. Comfortable furniture.
Poor hot water pressure for showers and dishes. Such a beautiful city and patio was facing the alley. Awoke to noises of person walking from room above ours.
The suite was very clean, well-appointed and comfortable. The staff person gave me a choice of room configuration, which was very nice of her.
The staff. They could not have been more helpful, from the one who sat & twirled on our barstools when we could not get them down, to those who did us a virtual service wash when our W/M did not work. The nice large room, comfy bed, and convenient position. Excellent cleaning service every day.
The aircon. It was 80* in Calgary when we came and the noisy small machine never got it below 77*. We told them about it but it did not improve. Fortunately it got much cooler the next day, and we could open the window. The W/M did not work. Kitchen equipment is eclectic and cooking sets off the smoke alarm (just switch it off a lot).
Very nice suite
A/C was loud, so I had to turn it off in the middle of the night.
