Everything - the house has lots of character, the hosts are nice and the food is incredible!!!
everything. Very happy there.
The pool The bath
Tiny toilet Lack of adequate lighting in room & in landing outside door of room Not enough hangers in wardrobe Lack of hook/s for hanging bathrobes etc. (Back of door is usual location) Lack of railing by steps to road and to pool. Helpful for elderly guests.
Location that enabled walking to shops and eateries.
The deep tub was nice, but I missed a true shower.
The staff were friendly during our stay though completely ignored us as soon as we paid the bill.
Booking was done by e mail, and it was clear that they were ok that we could arrive circa 10pm, and only stay one night.
Double booking !!! When we arrived we were told that they had made a big mistake, and no room was available. Maryann apologized profusely, and explained they had made a reservation for us at the Ici et Maintenant B&B down the street. That worked out well, with a clean comfortable room and a SPECTACULAR breakfast. Gordon and Wendy Peters Ottawa, Ontario
We honestly loved everthing. Our stay was just what we needed. Food was great, wonderful place to stay.
Nothing I can think of
very friendly and accommodating owner, gourmet breakfasts, comfortable bed, wonderful soaker tub, location, verandah, it was wonderful
the colors of the decor but this isn't a complaint, just my preference, wifi wasn't available in my room
Upgrade for "Sous la Vigne" was a very good surprise as really comfortable. Breakfast just great with good music and pleasant conversation with the owner. Good central location very easy to discover Magog.
Kitchen and fridge could have been more clean.
Accommodating hosts. Breakfast was delicious. The bed very comfortable. The room quiet.
Bed was very comfortable, Breakfasts were all unique and very tasty, close to shops and activities, Patrick and Maryam were very helpful with restaurant choices
the room was smaller than we anticipated, will probably be back this summer, We really love the Orford area...but will pack lighter!
Great breakfast, not your every morning bacon&eggs.Everthing was fresh and so tasty.Going back in April for another relaxing couple of days.Owners are very engaging.
There was nothing my husband and I did not like.
We were very happy with our stay - the dates got mixed up and our hosts easily accommodated us in a lovely house that would have cost us far more - but they insisted and we didn't pay more than we had planned. The breakfast was amazing, and the company was perfect. We were in a great part of Magog, easy walking distance to the main street, lake etc.
Loved the surroundings- the trees, the pool/hot tub, the decor of the house, the hospitality of the owners, the comfort of the outside room
That we couldn't use the hot tub as it would not get hot, nor the electric fireplace as it didn't work (both of which were reasons we booked our night)
Bed was incredibly comfortable
The location, the ambience, the owners and the breakfast.
Location near to town. Lovely pool and jaccuzi in garden. The breakfasts were amazing and the owners are very friendly and helpful
Slightly cluttered and fussy decor
>Pool - it's heated now. >Location - near downtown. >Off-street parking >Wonderful property overall - beautiful. >Great coffee. >One breakfast was good >Plenty do do on the property.
>Pool - was a bit dirty/bugs/leaves. Needs to be cleaned more often. >Noisy AC & ceiling fan. >Bed has a valley in it. >Not enough towels (none for the pool). >One breakfast was bad. >Breakfasts should be heartier, and not with candy as one (or more) of the "gastromomic" courses.
