The Oakes Hotel Overlooking the Falls  

We had a very spacious suite with a large renovated bathroom.

Even though the hotel is non-smoking there was a lingering odor in the room. The blanket had burn holes in it. View?? What view? We were on the 6th floor and maybe there was a view at one time, but.....surprise.... Trees do grow. Yes we had a view up the Niagara river. If you park your car at the rear of the hotel you will have to haul your luggage up a number of steps and navigate through 2 doors. They want you to park at the front and unload your car and then drive to the back to park. Incidentally we had another surprise when checking out and that was $ 15.00/Day for parking.Never again!!!!

We had family from england and wanted them to see the falls. And read where we could get the hotel which would give them the best view. I have to say we had a marvalous view so thank you for making the trip memorable for them. Mr and mrs vitols.

We liked everything.it was very handy for shopping gambling and walking.

Parking was extra, the room decor was slightly outdated, but for the price we expected that.

The view was spectacular as we were on the 19th floor. The beds were comfortable, although wish the bathroom exhaust fan worked. The closeness of everything was great that we could park at hotel and walk everywhere we needed to go.close to casico, shopping. And eateries. Would definitely. Stay again....the only fault I could find was that the coffee maker was in the bathroom and was never replenished with tea.

I love this hotel. Price is good, not so expensive, nature is wonderful (Niagara falls view from the window)! Servise is good: pool, fitnes centre.....Restaurant is close to hotel, sale-10% with key room. Big rooms! So, hotel is super!

Fantastic view of the falls.

I liked everything.

I liked that we had a jacuzzi in the room. Also the staff were very informative and were very friendly.

The ice bucket had hair in it, the room was dusty, the outlet that we used had food or drinks spilt down it, we specifically asked for extra towels so we didnt have to have our room cleaned and never got them. Also the fan in the bathroom did not work and the comment card in the room was used from a previous guest.

It was a good price and we booked at the last minute. It was good place to go and relax!

I Like the Falls View and the Room was Very Clean.

I didnt Like the Hotel Staff. They Were Extremely Rude While we were Checking in the hotel .While we were booking the Hotel we booked it for the falls view as it was advertise according to the pictures you can see but while checking in they gaved us landside view and we have to change it for more expensive.But If its gonna be like this then we are not going to book anymore with booking.com and not going to the Same hotel anymore. We were Charged Extra $60.

When we got there the staff upgraded our room to a fallsview at no extra cost and also let us stay until 12:30 so the kids could swim the next day :)
