Breath taking view of the "falls" from the 17th floor. Front desk staff were very accommodating and courteous. Complimentary coffee a good idea! |

The only good thing about the hotel was Falls view and close proximity to the casino. No exhaust fan in the washroom. As soon as you enter the room you are greeted by the wash sink. No in room coffee maker. Pay per view TV didn't work. The blanket had a hole in it. For the price you sure can find better hotels around. Honestly I will never stay at this hotel again. |

My wife and I have stayed at this Hotel a few times, we enjoy the view of the falls and landscape. The hotel is comfortable and very well appointed. I did book my son and daughter in-law in the Oakes as an anniversary present earlier this year. I am disappointed in the size of the room for the cost. I booked a special room ( higher cost too) thinking it would be bigger and better than a regular room. I will not book a room like that again, however I will stay at the Oakes again, but I will not book on-line! |

Your own restaurant on site would be Excellent!!! Also, because my boyfriend and I stayed for a full weekend it really would have been the icing on the cake to have a frig in our room. We called and requested one be wheeled to the room, just assumed there was one we could order?? We have stayed at your hotel in the past, and were thinking about making a few winter trips but cant decide where to stay?? Would love to come back to your Hotel, but a frig would be a must. |

Great location and price The furniture in the room was tired, one of the chairs had a large rip in it. Made the room look shabby. |

The view overlooking the falls was truly amazing and watching the sun both set and rise over the falls from my window is a memory i will never forget. Offering tea and water would be good in addition to complimentary coffee. |

We really liked our room and the view of the "Falls". We were not impressed with the work-out room. It's very small with a limited amount of machines. =( |

The 1st night in the newer section was in a great room with a fair price. You should tear down the older section. We were in room 253 for the second night. What a dump! My wife has a friend with reservations in your hotel next week and she told them to cancel if they could not get in the newer section floor 8 or above. |

The room was clean and was a nice size. The view of the Falls from our room was beautiful. We had a really nice time and would recommend the Oakes Hotel to our friends. The chair in our room had ripped upholstery which was something that I didn't expect in a hotel like the Oaks. It ruined the whole look of the room and gave the impression that things were not maintained the way they should be. |

During my stay at the Oakes Hotel, I found the room size to be very generous. I also enjoyed the fact that the jacuzzi was within the room and not in the bathroom. Although I did like the room size and jacuzzi, the shower's glass door, although patched up with some type of silicone tape, had a large crack from one end to the other. It seemed a bit sloppy. Secondly, when I think of fallsview, I don't think of being on the 2nd floor overlooking a parking lot and trees. Therefore, it was a huge dissappointment, especially going there for a romantic anniversary. |

First off, we had booked a Fallsview room. I noted on my booking form online that I would like the highest floor available, and if necessary I could be contacted to be charged a higher rate. My importance was the fallsview, not the price. Upon arrival, I find out that my room was on the second floor. The small window looked over the parking lot. You couldn't see the falls at all. This is not a fallsview room. I asked upon check-in if I could get another room. The lady said she had none left, but see when I booked online, it told me there were many Fallsview Jacuzzi suites left. I doubt there were all on the 2nd floor. Why didn't you accomodate me? I would have paid more. Secondly, when I got to the room, the door was open. This did not create a nice atmosphere at all. I was afraid I might be jumped and had to check every nook and cranny/closets etc. before. The washroom was very run down and old. The outside hallways were old and in need of major renovations. Also, yes there was a fireplace, but it was broken. False advertisement. |

I really enjoyed watching the Falls and it was close to the Casino. Wish you had a coffee maker in the room as people like to have coffee in the morning. Most places have that now. |

I had a wonderful view overlooking the fall, and I really enjoyed all the different things there were to do, not only for adults but for children too. I thought the Oakes was a very good location to everything and within walking distance to various different kinds of entertainment. I would definately stay at the Oakes again. Thank You. I thought that some of the prices were a little high but beside that I did't have any complaints. |

The room was very clean, jacuzzi in the room, big room... No coffe makers/fridges in rooms, soon after check in there were no coffee in the lobby same thing happened just before check out (morning time) next day. They said the best view but that is not even close to true if they put you under fifth floor what they usualy do when you boo room between 2 and 8 floor most of time you get 2nd floor . For ice I was told to go on 4th floor but maker didn`t work, no any hangers or closet in the room... |

The location over looking the falls was brilliant and the room was very pleasant. For a high class luxury hotel the towels were a disgrace! They were clean but probably older than me (and I'm 41!) and it would have been more luxurious to dry myself on an old piece of sandpaper! The car parking charge was too high as well, we could have parked next door for $5 canadian, or 1 block over for $3 canadian - when we complained about the charge we were told that yes but we could move our car as many times as we liked and not be charged again - I would have had to move my car 6 times in 1.5 days to make that work and being right next to the falls and all the attractions you didn't need to move the car! |

highly exagerrated the quality of their "fallsview" room. We paid quite a bit extra only to wind up with a 3rd floor view of the parking lot. The falls were completely obstructed by background trees. Even the 14th floor observatory was a joke. Not impressed. |

I loved our room and the view was awesome! The bathroom in our room was nice and big and we loved the jacuzzi tub. Maybe have an extra soft comfy blanket for the bed. |
