Room was clean..Night clerk extremely helpful and friendly... I thought our tiolet was cleaner than the pool and the picture on the website is not what we got. There was no real lobby area. I paid extra for a view of the falls and saw a lot of trees and the mist from the top...The observation deck was 5-6 little cubbies with two chairs in each, full length glass and crowded ..Not happy with what I got for the money...I would not stay again or recommend.... |

The location to the falls is fantastic. 1 block away from the incline railway that takes you right to the falls. I think the "Fallside" room is very misleading - we paid the extra to upgrade to what we thought was a fallside room and we were put on the 2nd floor so all we could see was the mist from the falls!! - Not quiet what I had in mind when I booked it. When we complained we were told we would have to pay even more to get a full fallside view. Very misleading and I think the room rates should state the floor you are likely to be on as if I would have know this I would not have booked it. |

Observation area on 14th was nice (but could use dimmable lighting for fireworks, etc. at night). Getting somewhat run down in areas - could stand refurbishment. |

When the AC broke down they sent a service guy to fix it within five minutes of my reporting the issue to the staff. The view wasn't as good as I had hoped, but I booked late and got a room far down in the building, so it's noone's fault but mine, really. |

The 14th floor outlook. The place was clean. Elevators quite a distance from the room. Very little in the workout room. Parking was a bit of an issue. |

Had a fallsview room with jacuzzi. Room was excellent - great for a young couple looking to get away. Was on 6th floor so some view was obstructed by trees but otherwise a great view. Didn't try the food they had to offer. Location was good, only a short walk to clifton hill. Parking was $20 for the entire time we were there which was fair. Price was reasonable considering the prices of nearby hotels. Definitely recommend. |

View is very good, location is very good. Old air conditioning units that didn't totally cool the room, very plain, old looking, only two pillows on the bed, small bathroom vanity. |

Since we had tickets for the Casino theatre, it was very convenient . The view of the Falls was amazing from the 14th floor, We went to Applebees for breakfast and asked if we were staying at the Oakes since we could have had a discount coupon. Desk staff should have offered this when we checked in I think. |

The view was stupendous, the bathroom was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, the linens were good and clean. Great location They upgraded our reservation from 2 queen beds to 1 king, so we had to have a cot brought in. No coffee facilities in the room Really wanted adjoining rooms. |

The location over the falls is very good and it is near to the casino. The room was very poor cleaned. We found old condoms on the carpet... Had to change room. |

Always felt welcome by staff @ the desk . there was a rip in the chair in our room. After booking the room we thought we would have a better view of the falls. |

Just the view. Fantastic! The decor, the bedding, the pillows, and the less than clean carpet. For the price, you could at least offer coffee in the room like in the Sheraton. |

view The charge happened twice. The time between pre-authorization charge ($115) and credit given is too long (2 - 3 days). It just confuses my bank and it looks like unauthorized charge. When we paid full at front desk, you do not need to go through this process. I hope you could have better system to avoid future occurrence. |

Convenient place The room was too far from the Lifts and there were 5 steps on the same floor to get to our side of the floor, with my kid's stroller, I had to carry them off each time going to my room. |

i did not like it because i had payed for a day that i did not stay over night in, i checked out at 1:50pm due to a family emergency my father was rushed to the hospital and i had to leave i was charged over 200.00 for Saturday and i did not stay the whole night and was not even given a ny type of money back, i was not happy |
