Comfortable and cosy Great Beakfasts
The room was a bit small
Nice views across harbour to city. Nice room Hostess was helpful with bookings.
Room not properly serviced Breakfast options and times limited. Room was hot on hot day and noisy with windows open. Doggy smell down stairs
really liked the Ocean Breeze. We stayed in the mini house. Very nice - although the bed was quite soft for two people.
Pleasant room, clean and tidy Owner very helpful.
The hospitality at Ocean Breeze was fantastic. The room was excellent. Great location to local transportation.
Hospitality, excellent breakfast, nice view of the harbour, great access to tourist places
noise of the harbour, room a little too small for two people
Margaret was friendly, helpful and warm. She made us feel at home and cooked up great breakfasts every day. Our room was cozy and had everything we needed including a small fridge to keep our drinks cold.
Rooms on the view side get pretty warm in the afternoon. There is a fan provided which really helps cool it down as the sun goes down.
The owner, Margaret, was very nice and made great breakfasts every day. She also gave us good ideas for what to explore in Vancouver. There was a great view of the city across the harbor with easy access by Seabus. I would highly recommend it.
The fact that we couldn't stay longer.
Breakfasts were terrific! Location to "downtown" North Vancouver and easy access to Vancouver downtown via the SeaBus Classy bathroom Helpful hostess
Sheets were "pilly" and room a bit small Noisy railyard nearby
We loved the host. She was very able to coordinate a great breakfast. The breakfast was delicious. She was very friendly and knowledgable. The cottage was the perfect size for us and full of charming nicknacks. She let us watch the fireworks for Canada day from her balcony , which was a million dollar view.
I think I left my shoes and my daughters behind by accident. Totally our fault. The place was wonderful.
really nice bed & breakfast in a great location!
Great view, nice commute to Vancouver, close to attractions...
Not mentioned on Booking.com - two dogs on a property (so many allergic people would appreciate information about that).
Within walking distance to many good European-style restaurants and to the SeaBus station (to heart of Vancouver). Property is near several parks good for strolling. Owner, Margaret, is a gem. She is a great cook!
The room was lovely. Very clean and comfortable.
A hot breakfast was supposed to be included, however the hostess only served breakfast at a single time during the morning which typically catered to those waking up the latest. Therefore anyone needing to be out the door before 8:30 am had to be satisfied with a cold breakfast. Any other B&B I've been to has offered a range of times during which breakfast is provided and you choose a time within that range. I feel that the hostess should be more accommodating to people's schedules.
Our choice for its location and budget, Ocean Breeze did not disappoint. Our friendly and accommodating hostess gave great dining and activity recommendations and cooked an excellent breakfast. Canadian down home hospitality at its best. We'd happily stay there again.
The owner Margaret was a very warm and welcoming hostess. My room, the 'Eagles Nest' was exactly the haven I hoped it would be . I spent my days at the Lions Gate Hospital where my husband was undergoing surgery, and it was so good to know that I had a beautiful room waiting for me at the end of some very long days. The breakfasts were top notch and a good variety. Margaret was very knowledgeable about the area and did all she could to make my stay comfortable.
There was nothing I didn't like
Good nights sleep, North Vancouver restaurants.
Decor and furnishing overly fussy making it feel cramped. A bit tired looking.
Location is close to commercial port area with noise from rail cars & boats loading materials.
