The personal was extremely pleasant and accommodating. Could not ask for a more pleasant stay
Conveinent location, nice about people coming and going to get us ready room Was spacious and had a great view.
It was a nice place to stay for our wedding night as it was conveinent to where we were getting married but the costomer service was poor as all they seemed to care about was money I paid cash up front for the room And they asked me at least 10x for the $10 parking fee and they knew I was getting ready for my wedding. In Vegas when we got engaged the hotel staff waved the resort fee and sent up a bottle of chanpaine and choclate covered strawberries with a congratulations note. Also the water never got more than luke warm so it was hard to enjoy the jacuzzi tub for $245 a night I would think there could be more of a wow factor or at least better customer service and we also stayed the Friday night as someone paid for us to have it two nights so we stayed and got ready in the hotel and then came back for our wedding night
Location was good
we were suppose to get an ocean view which we didn't, we were connected to a bunch of young drunks going in and out of their rooms slamming doors and yelling foul language until after midnight.
I did not get what I asked for in the room, so i asked for another room, they told me they were full and could not change rooms , but the room right next door was vacant
Loved the view of the ocean, the staff were incredibly accommodating. I will go again when the opportunity presents itself. Maybe next time just me and my wife.
The pub across the street, it was a weekend so maybe the drinkers cant be blamed however one would think that eventually it would settle down however that didn't happen.
Easy to find Nice rooms
Vanity in bathroom to small
The hotel is right on the promenade and is very convenient for walking along by the ocean. Plenty of places to dine and socialise.
The view was excellent, the room was clean and comfortable. location is great you can literally walk out and meet the ocean.
Soundproof issues - I could hear all the party noise from the neighbouring room so had to call the front desk to quiet them down. There was a wedding going on all day long and the service was late..felt like it was short staffed.
Great location Big suites Nice balcony with partial view on the ocean
Creepy corridors, old elevators, limited parking spaces Very expensive for the quality of the hotel, much more expensive than high-quality hotel downtown Vancouver, you are paying for the location Noisy, you can hear your neighbors talk. Their coming in-and-out are so loud that it wakes you up
This hotel was in a great location close to all kinds of retaurants. They were very accomodating with an early check in so we could get ready for a wedding. My only complaint is that we didn't have much time to spend exploring all there was to see and do.
This hotel is located right across the street from the beach and on the Marine Drive Restaurant drag.
The bedroom doors are extremely heavy and noisy. Of the 3 nights we stayed there, the parkade was full on 2 of those nights.
Semiamoo Bay is beautiful.
It was not clear how to enter the hotel until I had circled the area twice.
awesome kitchen awesome bed awesome shower awesome clean room
non stop partying at pub next door no one to shut the pub down next door construction till 9 pm and resuming at 8 am the next morning finally going to sleep 4 am each night when pub noise finished
The staff were so approachable and helpful like with printing boarding passes and suggesting places to eat.
Our suite was clean and comfortable. The kitchen area was good for relaxing.
Staff did not give us enough information on how to find our room (a number plus a letter). This wasted precious time in which we could have been enjoying the sunset we had been hoping to see. Worst of wall our outdoor patio was on street level and offered only a sliver of a glimpse of the sea. No breakfast.
Near the beach, lovely room
The train going by and a noisy pub across the street.
Spacious rooms, helpful staff and ideal location
Location, Location, Location. The staff are very helpful and attentive
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Parking was a plus so we weren't on the street all night. The room itself had a fireplace and an ocean view which was very nice. Nice big fridge. The beds were very comfortable.
We had a room with 2 beds, it had an ocean view and no balcony. There was however a balcony directly outside of our window that the room next to us had access to so if we wanted privacy we had to close the blinds. No restaurant on site however there was a cafe attached for breakfast.
I enjoyed the warm welcome and assistance of the staff. The turn of the century pictures of White Rock decorating the walls of the lobby and the room where I stayed, were delightful. This location was excellent as it provided me with a picturesque walk to and fro from a friend's home.
The television was situated in front of one of historical pictures of White Rock. Moving the picture so it can be appreciated by the viewer would be a suggestion.
Room request and confirmed in advance, but did not get the room that was confirmed. second floor rather than third floor
Hotel had a great location, easy access to food and activities.
The balcony of the room next door was actually right outside our window. When we opened the blinds, there was a guy sitting right up against our window. Very poor layout... took away from having an ocean view. Room should have been titled "room with a view of a guy smoking".
view. close to beach & promenade. lots of restaurants nearby.
paying for parking
We like the room set up. Parking was excellent. Friendly staff. Very clean hotel.
Requested a waterfront view but we were given a room on the side where construction was going on. We did have a balcony but the room next to us was viewing our balcony. Their window broke and needed assistance from us to close and open it. She made a comment about no privacy. We were reluctant to use the balcony after that. Security doors were slamming shut loudly. The website did not show pictures of room views very well.
