The view was amazing, that staff were very friendly, the free continental breakfast was great, the room was very clean and well kept, the cost was reasonable and it felt like a very cozy winter wonderland.
The kitchenette was a lot smaller than we had anticipated, there nowhere to plug in a vehicle on the cold nights, limited parking in front of our room, it was unfortunate that there was no TV in the room, and we found that adding on a damage deposit initially for each night was not appreciated (this was returned to us at check out).
Staff was friendly, room was neat and tidy, location was easy to find.
Lack of accomodations, a bit pricy, old/outdated heating. (Hard to set a stable temperature. No elevator or bel hope so had to lugg bags up stairs to the room.
Everything! It's an idyllic location with beautiful and historical buildings. It was decorated for Christmas and I found it very tasteful and festive. The food and beverage at the in house restaurant was outstanding!
I did not like the fact there are no televisions in the rooms. I would also like to see a deep soaker/jet tub and that would make the whole experience ideal.
The staff was extremely accommodating. The room was very clean and new feeling. Comfortable. The continental breakfast was nice.
No TV in room. No wifi access from miette room. 40 minute drive from town of Jasper. Room was not sound proof. Booking.com messed up our reservation and we were not given the mountain view room we had originally booked. This was an unfortunate circumstance which resulted in us checking out early.
Wanted the mountains and the peace and to "get away from the world" . It gave us that. It has a beautiful view !
Room by the stairs and it was disruptive and a bit noisy.
Loved the location of this beautiful lodge. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms and beds were great. View was fantastic. First time there for us but we will be going back.
I had a meeting in Hinton and this lodge was a nice distance to commute and still be in a mountain setting. It was very peaceful and after an absolutely brilliant meal in the dining room, we were able to observe stellar brilliance being so close to the dark sky preserve of the national park.
The internet worked for checking Facebook and emails but did not allow me to access the web to do any of my online work.
Not that far from Jasper, views if you can see them are decent.
We weren't aware that we would be in a cabin type room. It was cold and drafty and in need of an update. No idea why the fantastic view of the mountains is hidden by 4 enormous trees clearly planted on purpose a while back. Not worth the money at all.
The dining room, food and staff were excellent.
The doggie blankets on the bed were not clean. They hadn't been washed and caused our pups to be a little crazy. Thankfully we'd brought our own bed covers for the pups.
Location, value are perfect.
The view and the facility were beautiful, and te restaurant was fantastic!
every thing was excellant great view staff was friendly and very helpful good food
Fabulous restaurant. Enjoyed the meal thouroughly
Accommodations in the Lodge. Charming lodge, restful, peaceful atmosphere, friendly, sharing opportunities with other travellers. Exceptional dinner with compliments to your chef. Friendly pleasant staff. Loved that there was no TV or telephone. Attractive grounds. Overall wonderful!
some noise from highway
Location is lovely Libby and fireplace beautiful
Charged for every little item Coffee should be Fred in lobby Maybe a complemtary glass if wine Lovely venue but no welcoming message despite the lovely lobby
Awesome mountain view from "mtn view" room in lodge...great price
Clean rooms, nice sitting area to enjoy the outdoors.
Strange noise that went off in our room almost every hour. We weren't able to figure out what it was - sounded like a mechanical pump that kept waking us up in our sleep
The gas fireplace and well equipped kitchen. Nice bathroom also.
Bed spreads need replacing, too old and heavy, and living room needs some life. I went out and cut wild flowers for the table just to give the place some life.
Dinner was absolutely fabulous ! Staff (especially the afternoon staff) were very welcoming and helpful. Room was very nicely furnished. Balcony allowed us to really enjoy the beautiful view. (Note that all rooms do not have balconies).
This is minor... The chocolate pecan pie that they raved about in the AMA guide was no longer available.
Lodge was wonderful, with a log fire burning on a cool rainy night
Cabins were very basic, fire not working, patio chairs missing
Sleeping some kind of uncomfortable. Should be nice to add TV in rooms
location and view
very old and dated, only amenity in room was a coffee maker that did not work.
We stayed in new cabin at Jasper Gates. Ver nice
I was allergic to older cabins so the hostess was gracious and changed our accommodation to the new cabin. Very much appreciated.
that we did not have more time to explore the area
The staff are so friendly. The lobby is amazingly beautiful with the big fireplace and cozy reading nook. Easy access to the restaurant and bar. This lodge has such a homey feeling to it. I would definitely stay again for longer than the one night we booked.
The breakfast buffet. We found that the food sat out too long and wasn't that appealing so we went down the road for breakfast. That is my only concern. Please note I am extremely anal when it comes to food temperature so it was probably just myself that felt this way about the breakfast.
