The location. This was rated as a 5 star hotel. I did not think the service was at that level. Had problems right from the start that I did not think was handled in a 5 star manner. Paid for Deluxe Harbor view, was "inadvertantly" given view of the roof. I complained and was moved.

fabulous location for a pre or post cruise stay as it is part of the cruise terminal building...so straight off ship and into the room, which although we arrived early am was ready for us and available to move straight in. Also easy walk into the trendy Gas Town area and hotel is the starting point for the hop on hop off bus tours around the city (highly recommended). Rooms are huge and have good decor/ comfort and staff friendly & helpful. No breakfast included despite high room price and limited and relatively expensive meal options in the hotel. Fortunately plenty of good reasonable price eating spots nearby

location, spacious room, bathroom with separate room for toilet No CD player, although advertised on website. One was brought up to the room but very poor quality. Not everyone has converted to IPod docks! and I am a musician, and part of the reason I was there was music-related, and depended on listening to the 10 CD's I brought with me. The king bed has nice linens, but when sleeping, the duvet cover kept coming up, and there was a tangle of layers, and I was just one person.

Location priceless. View priceless. Staff all unfailingly courteous and professional. One of the best, if not the best, restaurants in Vancouver (Five Sails) in lobby in spectacular setting. Reminded me of the big luxury hotels on the water in Hong Kong. Nothing,.

The location, the view and the room Too much disruption when the East Indian Awards were on to the other guests having to be stopped and show the room card each time we re- entered the hotel. Also one of the lifts were reserved solely for the vip guests. It began to become very inconvenient. Luckily it was a short stay.

my room has been upgraded to a panoramic-view suite, which was fantastic. really loved it. the room was clean, stylish, luxurious and comfortable. loved it. convenient location. bottled water (3.00 CAN$) and internet costs extra (14.95 CAN$ per day)

The view of the harbour and mountains was spectacular and it was our anniversary so the staff upgraded us to a king corner suite and put a piece of cake with "Happy Anniversary" in our room as well, nice touch and thoughful.

I have wanted to stay at the Pan Pacific since it opened and I'm glad I finally did. It is a very nice hotel though it has been surpassed by a couple of other hotels in the city for the standard of the rooms but by the same token the cost is less. I would prefer a higher initial room fee and have parking included, I don't like the extra fees tacked on. The quality of the room was okay but I was hoping for a little higher end.

The room was large and comfortable, especially the king sized bed! 12Pm check out was great too. Allowed for a leisurely Sunday morning! Disappointing view...not sure if the hotel was fully booked, but would have been nice to see the mountains :)

The location and view from our room was superb. The price was very reasonable, the in-room facilities were also very good. We stayed over new year, new years day was my son's birthday when we arrived back at the hotel after dinner out the bar was closed. The bar closed at 9pm on New year's day! This would be unheard of in London, New York of other major cities.
