No kleenix in room.
Polystyrene cups, only one chair, not very comfortable. The cost.
No tub mat, husband fell in tub They did not tell us about WIFI so we had no internet for 2 days Overpriced for no internet service and I thought it was 140.00 for 2 nights not per night
A little noisy at night. We could hear faint voices and footsteps of people above us.
Price Needs updating.
Comfy bed. Very clean. Quiet.
Motels usually have mini-kitchens but the room we were in had a tiny coffee pot - end of story. No fridge, no glasses, no cups, nothing else. We had to eat out for the 2 days we were there. This motel was so old (70's style with very few changes). It also had some rusty areas in the bathroom. I examined the mattress to make sure it wasn't old. The cleanliness and comfy bed saved this place. .
-the staff are very nice, accommodating and helpful -very clean -very convenient location -big rooms
-we wished we had at least a refrigerator in the room -there was some kind of machine or generator going the whole time at night. (we still slept well, though-it was steady)
We came to Ucluelet to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed the motel's location - the main street. For the most part it was quiet. It was within walking distance of many facilities. Across the street we had our meals. We enjoyed the motel which was roomy, clean, had a handy kitchenette, table, and had a good view. We enjoyed watching a deer behind it.The staff was helpful and friendly.
We found the wifi very unreliable. It was not an issue of the motel, but rather of the town. Apparently wifi is strong in the morning, but weak at night.
Close to restaurants and food store.
Next door and outside noises.
Big room. Easy to find on the main street. Close to restaurants and food stores. Close to beautiful forest trails near Ulucluelet and the Pacific Rim Nature Reserve.
No view to the ocean, however within walking distance to beautiful trails along the Pacific shore.
Noise from other rooms, lack of fridge for the price, the price.
Location was okay.
- cleanliness of the room .. There was a beer and left over food in the fridge! Makes you think that the room never got cleaned. - most expensive hotel on our trip and by far the most dingy.
The hotel was very outdated and musty smelling. Concrete walls and free WiFi but we couldn't connect(I'm guessing because of the walls). The TV was blurry. Not that I will ever go back to Ucluelet but if for some reason I do...i will search out different options.
Management was very friendly. Loved the location - within walking distance to everything.
A bit noisy sometimes.
Clean comfortable rooms with plenty of space.
Good beds, nice and quiet room.
There was no fridge in the room
The motel was very clean and comfortable, it's perfectly located in terms of walking distance to restaurants and convenience stores, the owner is very kind, and it is a good base to explore Tofino during the day as well!
The rugs had some stains. A small fridge in the room would be great.
some papers under my bed
Lots of plug ins and a good bathtub.
The fog later in the day
Basic accommodations but if you are not spending a lot of time in your room (and why would you with so much to do outside) then this hotel is more than adequate.
The town itself is nice and we really enjoyed that Beds were atleast comfy
High priced room of $200 for a run down prison looking space no bigger then a desk cubical. Dated, dark expensive
Location was within walking distance of restaurants, grocery store, shops and Whale Watching. Beds were comfortable. Non-smoking rooms were appreciated. Staff was attentive and helpful.
Not all rooms had kitchenettes. We moved the following morning to get one. Rooms have to be aired out to reduce the closed-in odor. The phones were out of order due to an electrical storm a few days before we arrived.
The Pacific Rim is a traditional style motel which was obviously very well loved and maintained. Our room had new carpet and tiles and was spotlessly clean. It held a desk, table, fridge, microwave, toaster and dishes. Not sure if all the rooms are like this one. Pretty flowers brightened the exterior. The owner/operators were very friendly, responsive to needs and accommodating. The location was terrific with a view of the harbour from some units and several restaurants within a one block walk.
Sometimes we could hear people walking upstairs, but it wasn’t ever a problem.
location very clean
price high, but we were in high season and no other option available
