Penthouse Facility Excellent staff support and service

It is an elegant hotel. We are Fairmont members and appreciate the proffessionalism of the hotel.

I was disappointed that I could not get the same rate as you received even with contacting the hotel directly. I will certainly visit your website more often in the future.

They bumped are room up upon arrival to the hotel. Everthing was excellent there.

Concierge were not really up to date in everything in the city (I.E., tours to Banff)

Not many children, it was quiet and we had the pool to ourselves one night. Very nice and relaxing.

We had to pay for parking which was $37 a night with valet and not knowing this in advance or even to pay in general was upsetting. We paid for valet because compared to the other parking prices it was cheaper Also all the taxes above and beyond GST. We live in Alberta and I think it's rediculous that we can live in a city and have to pay a tourism fee. As well as some calgary fee, whatever that is.

This Hotel has a great feel to it great location and the staff are fantastic!

The location was perfect for us as we were early travellers the next morning on the Canadian Railway trip. The staff members were very helpful. The facilities were spotless, and the bed comfortable.

No negative comments about the level of service, but the receptionist who booked us in would look much prettier, and more welcoming if she had smiled.

The hotel is wonderful and the room are very big and elegant. Staff is very kind and the location is perfect to visit Calgary.

For us we really enjoyed the very comfortable bed we slept like a log we enjoyed our stay, the hotel was a little dated but good service, the restaurant and bar were a too expensive for what you got. The room was definately very nice and the service was really good but every thing else was below par 3 star at best, could be a lot better, not complaining

Hi I liked the location and the lobby as well as the general layout. Let the staff know that in room 525 where I stayed that if you plug the kettle in while the T.V. is playing it will throw the switch off. They have too many thing plugged into one receptacle. I had a great stay and thanks.

Your front desk people are very good and smart. When I first arrived and given a room, it had been partially updated but you can still smell that smokers stay in the room.....................probably lots of the rooms should be addressed...............but the front end young woman was intelligent enough to understand immediately and re-assigned me.

This was truly a luxury visit. The old railroad hotel was very well preserved with a wonderful room and service. It was a treat for us.

It would have been nice to have parking managed by the hotel but overall it was convenient and they had very good weekend rates.
