Staff and room
The room was very spacious and quiet. Access to WiFi was very handy.
It took a little time to find the thermostat in the middle of the night. The room had become a little too warm which made sleep difficult at one point.
Close to home which was a must, since I stayed there during home renovations.
Limited room service menu.
Spacious room Modern look Not overpriced I got an upgrade from the staff ( Jessica @ Front desk and probably one of the managers in the hotel ) Thanks a bunch for making our 7th Year Anniversary very memorable! We will definitely be coming back !!
Bed were a little stiff, and we woke up with a bad neck and back ache. Other than that, it was perfect !!
great location and friendly staff
Pillows were not comfortable
Staff was excellent. They made it worth it.
No hairdryer in room. Room was very dirty and rundown. I mean dirty. Windows were filthy on the inside, dust/dirt on windowsills, around bed, around toilet and under sink. Would have loved it if it were clean.
Location Kitchen facilities Comfy large bed Sizeable rooms
Cracked bathroom sink Slow internet Basic toiletries
We had an appointment at St. Michaels Hospital and the location was perfect, just across the street. The Staff answered all of the questions that we had, they were helpful in everyway. Frans Restaurant attached to the Hotel was perfect, we didn't have to worry about going anywhere, the prices were reasonable and the food was good. They didn't skimp on portions either. I would recommend the Pantages to anyone. I also loved the lounge area, it was quiet, comfortable and just a nice place to relax.
I thought the prices for the pop and snacks were high, but we picked up our own and brought it in. This was about the only thing that I can think of that was a negative. We got what we needed in the gift shop downstairs, although he couldn't break large bills, had to go and get change from the lounge.
I thought the hotel needed renovations. The location across from St Michaels hospital was very noisy with sirens and helicoptors landing all night long. The staff was friendly but the noise level does not promote a good nights sleep
Centrally located, friendly staff, comfortable bed and kitchenette.
Bathroom faded with fixtures, does not match rest of interior. Some photos do not match reality. Expected a bit more character
everything especially the kitchen and washer dryer..that was a first! all there were very helpful!
Location, friendly housekeeping.
In all this hotel lacks professionalism. Especially some of the valet staff. The furniture was so old, definitely need renovation. This is a strong indication of a very poor management. OMG the breakfast was so poor (1/10) rating. I paid for the (3 day) breakfast but I only eat once. In short,I will not go there again.
Unclean (Floors were dirty; Wine glasses had lipstick marks on them) Departure Hostess was not polite.
The location , while not in an upcoming buzzing neighborhood it is very well located near the eaton centre making many business destination at a walkable distance or easy to get a taxi at the corner. I also liked to have a fridge and counter - bar..while i didn't really need a kitchen in the studio. Compared to hotel rates, the hotel was fairly priced. The rooms/ studio is large Newspaper delivered at the door Well stocked mini bar
The hotel while trying some of the boutique hotel design elements or on the web seems like one feels at time a bit dated. Nevertheless it still feel intimate
The suite is very well equipped Good if you have a family
Extremely poor breakfast The bathroom needs more lights, it is really dim in the bathroom
The staff is very helpful and the hotel is nice and quiet. Big rooms.
Scruffy furniture, not enough lighting in the room. The hotel feels a bit outdated.
Loved the staff, the amenities in our room, security and the location. Can't wait for our next trip to TO, will definitely stay there again.
We had no complaints.
The Bed is too small, I think it's just a double size bed. It is NOT a suite at all, it's just a standard room with old furniture. At first, what I booked is a Deluxe Suite, but the front desk just give me a standard room. After double check with the front desk, they give me what I booked. It took me almost half hour to check in the right room. The service is impolite and impatient.
All staffing from valet service / front desk and housekeeping -most accommodating.Overall an unexpected "find" in an ideally located hotel.
Misguided information about access to internet usage and access.
Reasonable amenities, welcoming staff, valet parking available.
Some maintenance required to repair several damages on furniture and bathroom
Was pleasantly surprised by the size of our room - usually when you rent the deluxe suite it's an overstatement but this hotel room had size and beauty to it.
Very friendly staff. Close to public transportation. King Suite had full set of conveniences including washer/dryer, fridge and dish washer. Lovely room overall. Many restaurants, good and affordable, close by, too.
The entrance is dim and the convenience store is understocked. There is no suitable grocer nearby, just 7-11 with little to offer. The hotel lacks a nice place to lounge in the lobby, though there is a bar with jazz and a slightly depressing coffee shop/diner attached (but not affiliated).
The location! So close to the eaton centre, yonge and Dundas square...it was amazing!!
On arrival I had bags and was given a trolly to bring up myself and not offered assistance but the trolly was retrieved. I wish someone would've assisted with the trolly. Also the room floor was a bit dusty - our brand new white socks turned dark!
modern and relaxing decor, newspaper delivered, spacious bathroom, good coffee maker, nice and different breakfast, easy and fast check in and check out and friendly staff, big and comfortable bed.
thin towels, view onto a brick wall, that bottle of water was not free, i did not realise the creamers were in the fridge so went out to buy some milk.
