Very helpful staff with lots of tips and suggestions. They carried the luggage downstairs (2 overweight suitcases at once). Quiet rooms (not self evident with the road traffic), useful kitchen.
Missing elevator (for the luggage) and steep stairs. Somewhat decrepited environment.
Good location Very clean Good wifi
In need of refurbishment internally and externally Expensive compared more renovated hotels nearby
Staff and proximity to a specific attraction The stay turned out better than expected, but no travelers should experience the shock, doubt, and anxiety of the first impression. The facility on the inside was "good."
The change to the facility's exterior since the website photo was taken We drove past the hotel without seeing it. It did not look at all like the website photo. On-site parking was not as expected -- in the alley, well tagged with grafitti, with no direct access to the hotel.
Parc Suites This hotel pays particular attention to details. The décor was lovely. We had the Studio King bed with Kitchenette. The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The owner and staff were really helpful and accommodating-giving directions and suggestions where to eat. (Alto’s Restaurant across the road was great). The hotel is ideally situated. Everything is at your fingertips. There is a bus stop just up the road. The metro station is a short distance away. There is a grocery store, pharmacy, and restaurants just down the street. All our needs were met.. We would definitely stay there again and we would recommend this hotel to other people. We thank the owner and staff of Parc Suites for a great experience. Wonderful staff and owner. Felt like visiting a friend. Great location, near McGill university, parks, and easy walk or taxi ride to most places. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
great location, nice large rooms, bigger than most apartments I've had. the place is very "faulty towers" esque.
when we got there all of a sudden there was a $15 a day parking charge even though it says free parking on line. the owner was mad because my wife's hair dye stained one of his towels. brought it up multiple times.
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff, cleanliness, location and overall ambience. Will stay there again.
Nothing not to like
Accommodations Comfortable bed Kitchenette
Lack of accessible parking Lack of free parking Kitchen needed a spatula and other implements
It was fantastic! Definitely a little cozy place away from home. It was a very vintage looking hotel, but the quality of appliance, bed, washroom etc was up kept. Front desk service was excellent. We had the King room suite with kitchen and it was equip with everything needed. There was no sound at night time, even when its located on a busy street. We were closed to a metro station, and was able to walk to schwartz. Timmies, and starbucks (24 hours) is near by and different supermarkets(like a loblaws) Just a little info, if you want cheaper rate and FREE parking (valued $13), book through the hotel website, call the front desk. They will match your rate and give you free parking.
Just that there was a many agressive beggars near by, in front of the super markets, and buildings that made it a little awkward to walk to and from the hotel. But this has nothing to do with the quality of the hotel.
The rooms were spacious and the kitchen area was equipped with all the equipment we needed. Very close to a large, well stocked supermarket.
