Location is close to best resturant in Ferney Curry Bowl. Excellent tap beer from Ferney Brewing all over town. Highest recommendation for hotel.
Nice facility. I enjoyed the pool & hot tub.
Last year we booked here and were given a room with a balcony. This year we received a room on the inside, no immediate access to the outdoors. I would have liked to have had a balcony. A similar, less expensive hotel (BestWester) down the street includes breakfast.
Room was clean and huge! Facilities were great! swam in the pool!
my dad was disappointed with the breakfast. Took ages because order didn't go through due to a computer error and wasn't very good when it did arrive!
Liked the pool and hot tub
Found the restaurant expensive with poor service and mediocre food
All around it was an excellent location, very clean, friendly staff... perfect for our needs!
Convenience of amenities.
Would have loved an early morning swim.
Higher end rooms are awesome...very comfortable ....great pub!!
Staff were great!
Price was very high!
There was nothing special about this place.
There were only twin beds in the standard room (vs. queen beds in most other hotels). It was noisy; we could clearly hear people walking around upstairs, kids playing in the pool in the atrium as well as the traffic on the highway.
Front staff Val and Shane went above and beyond to accomodate my needs.Very willing and generous, considerate.Adding a few extras that I would not have considered. For service alone I say excellent! Loved Rm 321, Bright clean Beautiful view.Thank you.
Ordered Rm service -ny steak, could not eat it (3/4 was grissel) - sadly sometimes the chef is not aware. Hot tub had alot of dirt/ sand in the bottom. Clock radio didnt work. Bedding rm 321 rumpled not tucked in... Made me question if it was fresh. WiFi intermittent.
Court yard location
Old sheets and old faded quilts old desperate need of update outrageous price noisey pool not open in morning old airconditioner outside on the deck black hair on pillow and in bed
The location was convenient. The mini kitchen in rooms was addition.
The pool was too cold to enjoy and not opened until early evening. Hot tub not very hot either. Beds were not very comfortable. Not a well maintained building. Appreciated the well meaning environmental attention, but feel the price did not reflect the state of property.
The hotel was cozy and comfortable. A short warm walk to the attached pub which had an amazing atmosphere and great food.
We couldn't get the cable tv to work.
Great location, comfortable beds.
Great staff at front desk. Excellent service. Clean, comfortable room in what is overall a nice hotel worth every penny we paid and more.
Very poor mattress on the bed.....left with a very sore back.
The bed was very comfortable and everywhere was clean. The sauna pool and hot tub were nice to use after a day skiing and the pub attached was excellent.
The food in the pub was excellent but the breakfast in the hotel was very average. There was only thick white bread for toast and flavoured yoghurts, all full fat, and the hot food was limited to meat and eggs. the walls in the room were seriously brilliant yellow! As all the soft furnishings were yellow and gold too it was a bit too much!
As all hotels in Fernie (in my opinion), this one is overpriced. I booked a room with 2 double beds, and they are not really double beds, but rather 1.5 persons' beds. They awfully uncomfortable to sleep on. And beware that booking price does not include taxes (which came to almost 25 %!)
Room and guest faci!ities
I liked the location, liked the kitchenette. 2 sinks is great. Flatscreen tv. PS 2.
The beds were uncomfortable.
Spa / swimming pool were fantastic. Rooms were comfortable, good selection of tv channels and always cleaned thoroughly each day. The young man on the front desk, Guy, was always very helpful and friendly!
The wifi was a bit annoying. Made you reconnect every few hours
Location for ski resort is brilliant
Found it a bit expensive
Loved the pool and hot tub in the covered lobby. "The Pub" is an excellent bar and had great burgers though, like all places in BC, we found the beer and liquor selection disappointing. The location was excellent, walkable to the main strip of restaurants, the grocery store, etc. It was also only about a 10 minute drive to the Fernie ski area.
It was a little louder than expected. Doors slamming and that "tick-tick-tick-tick" of the electric heater made us lose a little shut-eye. No big deal but I would have liked my stay a bit more if I had thought to bring ear plugs.
The restaurant was good and the pub next door
Breakfast not included
Room was great and bed was comfortable
