I like that the staff were nice and the price was decent. it was peaceful even though the furniture was a bit outdated
I could barely connect to wifi. Had a bunch of business emails to reply to and they did not send.
Location (not in Whistler), near to all amenities; ground floor only, heated pool, coffee . ..
Paying extra for parking; no staff after 4 pm.
Pool and hot tub!
There was much to like about this place. Its location next to Nita Lake and great walking trails to Whistler Village was great. The staff was very friendly and made us very comfortable. And the cost for this wonderful stay was very reasonable providing value for money spent there.
Nothing. I would go again anytime.
The young lady that checked us in was the only bright part of the stay.
the lobby was poorly lite and not well maintained. there was no elevator( we were on the third floor ) no staff to help with cases. The room was in need of renovation paint peeling, valance in bathroom just hanging on wall plus many other things we will not be going back!!
the fellow at the front desk was friendly and was a great help in moving us to a different suite The pool was clean
the first room we were in was musty not a problem my husband opened the door and window but the screen for the window didn't fit the person at the front desk was happy to help us but he couldn't get it to fit It was so hot I told my husband ( who was not happy ) we could live with it. I was so badly bitten by mosquitoes and allergic I went out and bought calamine lotion So we closed the windows. and it was very uncomfortable and hot My granddaughter 12 wondered why every glass I gave her was chipped and so were 3 of the plates ( which was a health concern so I bought plastic plates and cups) that night with the windows closed none of us slept. I was still trying to tell my husband things were not that bad ( I hadn't told him of my bites) at 10:30 the next morning the music started above us and we had to leave it was so unpleasant and blaring I did complain and we moved across the hall with a room no music and a screen made it better but I would never go there again or recommend it We love Whistler and live in Deep Cove North Van so it is ideal for us to take our granddaughter during the summer I know that you get what you pay for but at $100. a night and taxes it was brutal
super helpful and friendly staff to make late check in a breeze! free parking in whistler is crazy. its not a new place so don't expect the westin, rolands pub attached is awesome place for tasty food and drinks, pools nice. for the price the place is excellent.
the wifi is the equivalent of an abacus.
No Aircon, not properly cleaned Awful pull down bed
Quiet, clean, free wifi,
The reception desk was only manned 9-4 each day.
the location the closeness to the village the staff===THE RECEPTIONIST LADY REHNA THE ENVIRONMENT THE POOL
nothing to complain about
comfortable pull down bed free parking full kitchen clean view from patio!
needed screen door on patio for ventilation
Awesome little place tucked away just behind Alpha and Nita lake (Alpha lake is an awesome place to play in the park!). Great kitchen with a very clean room and only a 10 min bike to the heart Whistler.
Quiet Coffee and cookies at reception in morning. Lots of parking. Gas station nearby. Good cable tv
No staff after hours. No room cleaning during stay. No replenishing coffee in room.
Kitchen facilities were plentiful in terms if utensils, plates, cups and saucepans! There was even kitchen roll! There was cable tv with plenty of stations including music ones. We had a problem with the fly screen but the guy at reception quickly fixed the issue. A short bus journey takes you into Whistler village.
Room was big and area quiet at night. We were able to extend our checkout time by a few hours which was much appreciated.
No air conditioning in room but corridors were air conditioned?? Very warm during our stay fan just circulated warm air. Décor in rooms and Resort very dated and shabby.
We had a mouse in our room, finally called management and they were helpful but unable to catch the mouse. We weren't offered a reduced rate or any form of compensation.
Very comfortable bed and clean and quiet
Comfy bed Big room Heated spa Quiet Central in creek side Close to lake Pager at walks
- location - price point - good (firm) bed
-limited hours for staff at front desk -heating issue - room very warm even with thermostat turned to 'off' - noisy 'party' neighbours in adjoining room (realize that is not so much a comment on the Resort as to the guests)
Staff was great, helpful if we had a problem, always friendly, but left us alone too. Kitchen is well stocked and great value for money!
The place is a little old - this didn't worry us at all, but is good to know. Wifi was quite slow.
Comfortable bed, warm room on cold night.
Everything looked a bit tired.
The location is very nice - next to the lake and close to bike roads (stayed in summer). The staff (present 8:30-16:00) is nice and knowledgeable.
Afterhours "concierge" was able to let us in by telling us the code, but had wrong WiFi info and the pool code did not work. When I told them that WiFi code was wrong - their answer was that that is what they have "on file" and did not try to find a solution. We are from the US, so we had to call a local number (not toll free). There is a payphone in the lobby, but if you don't have Canadian change, you need to find some other way to call them.
Nice appartment with everything on it. Great location if you don't want to be in the crowded city center of whistler.
Bed was comfortable, room large. TV worked well with lots of choice of programs.
I would prefer to have had a microwave in the room, like most motels do in Canada. I wasn't initially informed of how to get into the actual motel on arrival if reception was unattended, so we had to telephone someone, then we still had problems getting in, but worked it out in the end!
