strong smell of smoke in room even though room had been painted. Lady at front desk didn't have a clue what a wake up call was then later sent someone to my room with a clock radio. Combination lock on my suitcase was changed from when I left it - I always leave lock on same numbers. I would never stay here again.

Room, including fridge, stove, oven, bathroom has not been thoroughly cleaned. Rooms are old and in poor repair, especially the bathroom. No updating has been done with the decor - nothing matches; everything is old and in poor repair. Dinghy and depressing! Rooms do not have any ventilation - no fan in the bathroom; no fan over the stove. Rooms do not have a sprinkler system in case of fire. Noisy, with locals partying all night. Kitchenette was poorly equipped for preparing & eating meals; no toaster or kettle; no cooking utensils; no drinking glasses! Air conditioner did not work Futon was broken and had to be replaced with one from another room; two dining chairs were also broken.

Had everything I needed. A clean, spacious suite for a great price. Just one minor thing, toilet didn't flush properly, so was a bit of an annoyance.

The kitchen was not stocked, no tea towel, no dish rag. Nothing that could be put in a microwave oven or in a regular oven for that matter making the kitchen virtually unuseable. When trying to check in to the room, there was no one around...I had to call the motel to have them let me in. It was only 7:00 pm.

We lucked that the bedroom was separate from the rest of the space and enjyed have a kitchenette. The decor was cute. The couch in the livingroom was extremely uncomfortable. As well it felt unsafe being in a room with somewhat questionable people next to us (guy with shopping carts with cans and bottles parked outside his door).

The pretty room decor was lovely. The room was very clean, and the girl at the desk to check me in was very nice.

Staff was freindly. No telephone in the room which I consider as safety hazard. No deadlocks. Very narrow parking spots.

Location, near the race track and shops etc. the floor was hot, apparently from the hot water pipes which made it uncomfortable in the summer heat.

The staff were incredibly friendly during my entire stay at the hotel. I chose this hotel based on the reviews and the high rating I found on other sites, along with the location being close to shopping and the beaches. The decor of the rooms added a bit of personalization to the place. Overall, I will definitely be staying at this hotel again, and recommend it to anyone who asks. The only downside to the hotel would the air-conditioning. . I appreciate the air-conditioning units, but they were way too loud to have running at night unfortunately. However, having stayed at more expensive hotels in Penticton which offered so much less, I can easily overlook this..

The out door pool was only thing good about this place. The rooms are tiny, the bed was hard as a rock, the room had been smoked in and the staff tried to pass off the smell as carpet glue. The tiles in the bathroom looked like the had been grouted by a 5year old and the little soap dish almost ripped right off the wall. I would never stay there again, it was a dump and way over priced.

Staff was Friendly, room was a decent size. Things were generally clean, but the room was run-down and could use some maintenance and sprucing up. Kitchinette was useful, but only half-stocked with utensils etc. Was a little pricey for the condition I think, but was on the low-end for motels in the town.

Older but clean. Convenient loctation to shopping and food. No supplies in the room such as cups, cutlery and dishes. There was a sink, fridge, microwave.......no dishes. No dishsoap, no teatowels or dishclothes. Also.......no hair dryer. Not a good selection of soap, shampoo. Towels in bathroom were clean but small and didn't do the job well. People above us were very heavy footed!! They allow smoking under the eaves of the rooms.....even though the rooms are no smoking they allow it right outside the doors, they allow it at the bbq area, they allow it at the pool....they even supply ashtrays directly outside of the room for people to smoke you out!!!!!!! Its illegal!! It breaks bylaws and provincal heath laws!!!!!

I was not expecting to be so pleased with the place. The family that runs it keeps it super clean but not only that, super maintained. Obviously an old motel, and not that many recent renos, but every surface is meticulously maintained with very fresh coats of paint, new lino, etc. Appliances, TV, wireless, etc. all new. Everything squeaky clean. Very pleasant place to stay, from the welcome you get from bright and friendly young family members, to great gardens/plantings all around, nice pool. Someone has spent a lot of time interior decorating each room, with lots of nice touches. Would recommend it and will go back there. A small issue, and not really something the management can do anything about. Several oversized pickup trucks of guests took up too much room in narrow parking spots. Later I discovered there was plenty of parking to the sides and rear so did not even try to wedge in beside the giant pickups. Probably the season of industrial workers, tradesmen, etc. during heavy tourist season. Parking OK, it just wasn't obvious at first that there were enough spots for everyone.

The room was clean, large. The air conditioning worked. It was quiet. There was a swimming pool which I don't use. The shower didn't work because the knob fell off. There was a kitchenette but no dishes, cutlery or pots. The sir conditioner was extremely noisy.
