We booked two small rooms with our friends, but for our pleasant surprise we received two big well equipped units instead. The manager was very kind and gave us helpful advice where to go to enjoy beautiful nature in this extremely hot weather. Fresh delicious almond croissant with cappuccino in Blackbird bakery was a great beginning of the day. We spent two wonderful days in this charming village.

No air conditioning, poor value for money - rate posted outside motel different - lower- than rate quoted on Booking.com. old building with no updates, no one available at indicated check-in room - hand to phone the building manager to get service. Parking area had dust and dirt at least a half inch deep - looked like it had never been swept out. Hifh charge for pet compared to Best Westeren for example.
The bed was fairly comfortable and the bathroom was adequate and newer.
It was difficult to find the way into the building. The manager suite was very message and he had his shirt buttoned up wrong with his belly hanging out. No keys in room and door handle almost fell off the door. He said the keys were left in the room on the counter, door are open. No Id check. The keys weren't there so I went with the manager to a couch in the hallway and under the cushion he had stored all the master keys to the suites. It was not safe. The door handle to the suite was so loose it almost fell off when opening the door so I screwed it back on with my screwdriver. Some handles on the kitchen cupboards were the same so I fixed those too. All emergency doors were held open with a cigarette ash tray can. There were no towels so we borrowed from our friends across the hall. Barely any utensils or cups to use. Our friend across the hall had the same thing so we were constantly sharing things. There was a rusty dented cheese grater that someone had stood on. There were no side tables in the room, no pictures on the wall, very bare. The couch was not very comfortable. The phone was on the floor in a corner of the room. We were not sure if it was safer in the truck outside or in the suite. A homeless person was sleeping in the field next to the car park. Just before we left I found someone else's dirty underwear sticking out from under the bed skirt. Clearly the room was not cleaned properly and far from being equipped. The value of this room would be more like $60 per night based on what you got, not $180 or $190 per night that we paid for. It was fair from what the reviews shared and a complete rip off. We did not approach the manager for anything after the initial contact as we did not feel he was equipped to assist. who would store master keys to all suites under a cushion on a couch in the hallway?
no sign on the place. hard to find. no one in the office so hard to get the key. no air conditioning and no screens on windows so very hot and stuffy. fans were not adequate.
Convenience, primarily, as I was attending a 3-day weekend event held at the Community Center, only a short walk from the hotel. My quiet second-floor suite was clean and had everything I really needed. The bed was very comfortable. The electric fans (no A/C) were much appreciated.
It would be good to have screens in the windows and deck door, so that the west-facing suite could be aired after a sunny summer day without having mosquitos get in.
Friendly and helpful manager. Good cafe in the building.
Check in seemed strange, with no lobby or desk allocated. The office was cluttered and disorganized looking. The suite was very plain and unattractive. No attempt at decoration, cheap looking and mismatched furniture.
Good location just off the highway and 30 minutes away from Whistler. There was kitchen in the apartment so we could cook our own meals.
The walls could use a fresh coat of paint and carpet replacing as there are many stains. Not exactly the "luxury" condo it is advertised as. There were two single beds in the living room which was unusual for a one bedroom apartment. Hallways in the apartment building were messy.
Pemberton Charge me the cancellation Charge twice, which eventually we push through our plan to stay. They say they loose money for the Cancellation, How could they loose money if i cancel a month ahead before the said stay?? so disappointing..
The room was pretty good and spacious with very acceptable kitchen facilities.
It is difficult to find the way into the building and external doors to the floors are left open asking for security issues to arise.
The apartment was very spacious with a full kitchen.
Was on a main road across from a service station so was woken early. The fridge could have done with a wipe. Did not see any staff as the key was in our room when we arrived & we just left it there.
The size of the apartment was huge and more than enough for my needs. Looks like a newly constructed building in a central location. Very nice.
I think that the price is way too high for a place in an isolated small town. Even Whistler had a few places cheaper, so that is disappointing. Should be $80 or less.
The facilities in each room were brilliant
The room was incredibly hot and the tv didn't work that well
No reception Halls and elevator were dirty rooms very basic
Restaurant Cleaness of the room
We didnot got the room that we reserved. No balcony, but payed. Nothing in the room except a bed and lighting !!! Room very warm, No air cond. Bad value
It's not really a hotel. It's more a consimi that couldn't sell their units so decided to rent them out. The office is one of the condos and I felt like I was intruding a bit
It was clean
There was no proper reception to greet you. Check-in and check-out is done through the Manager's suite or office which was not very tidy. The corridors in the building were dark. The carpets in the room did not look very clean.
clean and new Roomy Safe parking elevator
There is no signage on the building, we only found it because our GPS found it, No AC, very warm rooms! The building is new but the maintenance appears slovenly and the management seemed unprofessional
