Lovely room with a sense of individuality. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Easy to get around with a metro stop about 50-100m away, or just walk 5 minutes to get to a great shopping street.

The auberge sits on a quiet street within walking distance of the 'gare central' and the bustling Rue St Catherines. It was the perfect resting spot after our busy time in New York. The french toast, fresh fruit, coffee and omelette served in a sunny breakfast room was a highlight. The staff friendly and helfpul and the art in our room all added to the pleasure of our stay. The fact that we couldn't stay longer than one night!

Very nice and clean room (we were upgraded for a Deluxe room) with confortable bed, jacuzzi in the room, couch and fireplace. Breakfast was fabolous, with almost everything what you can imagine (even fresh cooked eggs with plenty of choices). Hotel is very close to Metro (1min.), and to the heart of downtown (5min.). Staff was friendly and helped us with parking (in front of the building for free, except of some hours during the week due to cleaning), but the hotel also have some spots in the back-yard for 12$/day. All in all a really nice stay and I can recommend iit for anyone, who's looking for a nice abd calm llace to stay in Downtown Montreal.

The room was a nice size for two of us, the location was right next to the metro (you seriously cannot get any closer), there was parking there so we never had to move our car and the breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious. There were even candies in a jar outside our room which made it feel so much more like home. Nothing. I can't think of a single thing that the hotel did wrong. The only issue we had was that we got a parking ticket during the 5 minutes it took us to run into the hotel and get the parking permit, so if possible leave someone with your car since the city of Montreal was very fast with that ticket.

This b&b is uniquely decorated and has a lot of character. The staff were awesome....very helpful and friendly. Wonderful breakfast each morning. Our room was very clean. The only thing we didn't like was the rooms are not very sound proof. We could hear the conversation in the next room clearly and we could hear the man snoring at night quite loud through the wall that seperates the two rooms.

Staff was incredibly friendly and courteous. Very cute bed and breakfast. They have changed the set up of the bed and breakfast. Pics online are misleading. The picture show a family room with sofas by a fire. This room has been converted into the dining room and thus there is no longer a seating area which we were looking forward to. We were very disappointed as a result. But the bedroom itself was great. The bedroom door is incredibly hard to lock/unlock and the noise from the kitchen (cupboards banging, pots being slammed on counter or thrown in sink, etc.) is incredibly loud in room 503 (basement room). The noise began around 6am. It was VERY annoying.

The breakfast was delicious and the painting and wall colors very decorative. Room was smaller than expected and there was no iron in the room which was unfortunate since it was required for work shirt.

I loved the space of the Suite room we stayed in as well as the private access to the room. The most amazing feature was a working wood fire place. I will defenitely return. The breakfast was especially impressive as we were waited on and also had choices of eggs, omlets, waffles, etc... I have absolutely no complaints it was perfect.

Breakfast was superb. Staff were friendly and helpful. Unique and charming. Metro station within 100 yds of front door. There was no common sitting area to utilize for relaxing, reading and conversing.

Lovely rooms, quaint and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and accomodating Area is a little sketchy. By the train tracks, so for single's can be a little precarious. But you can't beat the convenience of the metro station just a few steps away, and the close proximity to the center of downtown Montreal

A wonderful experience. Right in the heart of the best shopping and restaurants. The location close to the metro was ideal. The daily breakfast and nightly port was a hit for us. The staff was friendly and very helpful giving first time visitors directions and suggestions about nightlife and shopping and where to dine. I loved my weekend getaway there, and plan to do it again. More luxurious towels and bathrobes would be a good idea.

Friendliness of staff, good location, excellent breakfasts Some rooms of the hotel (not all!) are too noisy for all sounds from corridor as well as from neighbouring rooms. It is really uncomfortable to hear each and every move of your neighbous...

Following a web search we selected Petite Auberge based on location and photos of the facilities. Our room was nicely decorated, clean and comfy. Breakfast was wonderful, and all of the staff gave us a warm friendly welcome. The location was perfect for us - near shopping, about thirty restaurants, subway, and a long walk from the historical sites of Old Montreal.

We had reserved their 'budget room' at $129, but when we arrived we found out that due to the fact that 3 people had made the same reservations approximately at the same time through online booking, we had been upgraded to one of their fabulour suites- all for the same price! We were shocked, but very impressed and the room was absolutely great. We will definitely be back!
