comfortable bed, artwork! excellent breakfast included.

odd area but steps from metro and walking distance to crescent st. restaurants and art galllery, mcgill etc Downstairs room directly below kitchen so banging pans noise started 615am- not for light sleeper.

I am a return guest. I like the welcoming feel of the Auberge which includes the decor and overall ambiance. Staff is very helpful and of course the breakfast is amazing. Great attention to detail.

The For Sale signs, worries me that the property will be sold out in the next while. It is too bad that the old breakfast area has been sold.

Everything. Beautifully decorated, quirky with gorgeous colourful artwork, fresh flowers etc. The room was spacious, comfortable and had a jacuzzi. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order. staff was friendly and genuine. One of the best establishments we have ever visited.

We had made a reservation in February for a July visit. We arrived and discovered the property had been sold. We were not notified. We spent three hours trying to find alternate lodging.

Immediately I liked the place! The man at reception was so friendly and helpful. He carried my large suitcase to our room for us and gave us a tour. I loved the old charm of the place and the decor was fabulous! I was pleasantly surprised how nice and yummy the breakfast was. I didn't expect to be given a small menu of choices and to be served by the lovely ladies. The French toast and eggs benedict were delicious! I would definitely come back to stay again!

Superb art work, very comfortable room. Excellent, varied breakfast served by competent staff.

Be careful if parking on street. Very complicated and ended up with fine. Ask manager about parking options.

Read that this was close to the Bell Centre and this was the purpose of our trip. Didn't realize when you stepped out of the door and looked up the Centre was right there! Half a block down the street and a block over and we were there. Room was in the basement (suite) and very quiet!! Comfortable bed, very clean. Great TV on a swivel that you could view from anywhere in the room. Awesome breakfast included and the best coffee! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Air conditioned which helped as it was 40 degrees with the humidity. Metro 30 seconds away. Bars and restaurants a 10 minutes walk up the street. Shopping another block up. Will stay here again next time I visit Montreal!

The walk to bars, shops etc. is up a short hill. Great walk but not if you had a health problem that made hill walking difficult.

We liked the breakfast but that's the only thing we liked about the place.

Our privacy was invaded as one of the staff got into our room without letting us know and ignoring the 'Do not disturb' sign. The place was extremely dusty, very noisy-work was being carried out in the premises all day through. Lastly there were looooots of bugs (termites and beatles) even in our bed.

Very nice hotel to recommend. The staff is very nice. The decoration is beautiful. The bath equippment is so cool. Price is also fair.

If the breakfast can be more variant, it will be even cooler.

I was not told that my key would be in an envelope outside the door (self-check-in). I called the number listed in the locked door and left a message, eventually I found the key but I never got a call back asking if everything was ok. Also, upon check out the person who could do the billing and give a receipt was not there...

great location, easy access to public transportation and walking distance to the downtown area. Staff person,Zen, was very helpful and accommodating, he made reccommendations and set a dinner reservation for us.

Had money taken from our room, but the front desk employee, Zen was able to speak with the owner and we recieved a refund on our stay.

Went to a concert at the Bell Ctr so the location was perfect for that. The street is a little sketchy, but certainly safe. They were so nice to offer an upgrade, and room 705 was gorgeous! Would def stay there again, but I got a ticket when I parked down the street, so just be careful. My fault that I cant read French, but apparently you need to be a resident to park and, well, I wasnt a resident. All in all, lovely and charming.
