This completely non-smoking full-service resort, spa and conference center is situated in Niagara-on-the-Lake and features luxurious amenities, elegant accommodations and a large variety of on-site...

It was nice to sit by the pool in the evening and have a drink. The service was excellent.
The breakfast could have been better and the evening meals were a little overpriced for what they were.
We were attending a wedding , It was a lovely venue Would have liked to spend more time to use facilities Definitely come back again
The carpets are very dirty xxx
Simply being in notl is great..
The hotel is now very dated and rooms need total overhaul and refurb..
very nice room well outfitted and very quiet, helpful staff, very nice building and setting. Good amenities, free shuttle bus to theatres, etc, In fact, everything but the Dinner. We did not have Breakfast in the hotel
Pricey and poor dinner in the main dining room. One person ordered Chowder for starter and it was cold, and thin not a Chowder at all. I had Roast Beef, too thick, and a very poor dry Yorkshire Pudding and, believe it or not, no mustard when I asked. Considering the cost a rip off. also very pretentious. Very very slow service, though when we arrived the room was not at all full.
everything about it dinner at the Cannery was amazing
when asked at front desk where the Acquafit was taking place (what pool) they didn't have a clue but meanwhile when asked at spa they were the ones that told us to ask front desk
Rooms were spacious. Very comfortable beds.
Pools were small and crowded-lots of kids. One bed not made up after returning to our room from a day of shopping. Ceilling light fixture extemely dusty. Not close to downtown so had to find/pay for parking.
The Food (dinner) Staff The Room
Found it a little expensive
Very relaxing atmosphere. Pools and Spa facilities were fantastic. Location to shops within walking distance and shuttle is very convenient.
Would be difficult to do every year for a weekend getaway due to high costs. Rooms are older but clean and well-kept, although our room had somewhat of a musty odor to it.
The location of the hotel was great. quiet and easy to get to the main street either by walking or shuttle. The staff were friendly and helpful. A relaxing getaway.
The staff at the Pillar and Post went above and beyond to accommodate my wife and I. I requested a little promotion for my wife as we were celebrating our honeymoon at their facility. Flowers and a bottle of wine was provided each day of our stay. My wife loved it. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality. It was Top notch!!!
Food was a little bland but overall it was a great stay
Room in need of a facelift. Looked like it hadn't been touched since the 80s. Dirt on stucco walls. Bathroom fan did not work.
The hotel is a wonderful place to relax and feel pampered
Spotty wi fi
Food was excellent and the service and suggestions were of royalty. Comfortable, relaxing And would have stayed forever!! Plan on going again next year, maybe even sooner.
Rooms are pricey but worth the expense just to have the experience all over again. Thank-you to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable:) :)!
Warm, friendly staff...free and quick transportation into town...lovely pools...thoughtful turn-down service with a white rose left on the pillow
unreliable wifi...not enough time to take advantage of the amenities...extremely expensive glasses of wine in hotel lounge...loud wedding guests on the weekend
We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Pillar and Post, from the moment we checked in, until we had to go home! I commented to my husband that I could very easily stay there for a month ! Thanks to all the staff ... it's a beautiful resort in a very exciting little town !
Nice facility, lots of things to do.
"tile" chipped in comfort area of the room. $15 resort charge
Bed wonderful. Pool and spa area wonderful . Breakfast very good. Location is quiet away from the busy Main Street. Gardens are outstanding .
Breakfast pancakes came with maple syrup for the USA..really ?? No Canadian available ?? Shortage of clean towels on second day .
Prices very high
Wonderful experience! Thank you very much.
The staff were all accommodating and friendly without being ovver the top. Great spa. Only 5 blocks from downtown strip. Would come back again
staff not as polite as when we stayed there previously we did not get the room that was requested on booking.com only when I called did they give us the room we had booked.
The room towels were nice.
We were very disappointed in many things: Mattress, TV had very poor picture, no premium channels and the pay for a movie option was "down". An area of the hallway had no a/c and it was sooo hot walking through there. The pool had not been skimmed and had many bugs. (I came out with a bug bite.) I developed a cough during the night which I think was due to the poor air quality. Needless to say, we had a terrible night sleep. I slept better when I moved to the couch. For what we paid, it was outrageous! We would never recommend this "spa"!
We had never been to the Pillar and Post and from the moment we arrived we fell in love with the way they treat their guests... from the wine and cheese hello to the rose delivered to our door later that evening. We can't wait to return! Our 50th wedding weekend will be something we remember for a long time... very special! Thanks Pillar and Post!
Spa and pools were great. The free shuttle was amazingly convenient. Rooms were spacious and clean. Excellent service staff. Very prompt.
TV in rooms did not work well. Picture quality terrible. Difficult to use.
*Excellent staff *Comfortable *Great location in a beautiful town a & lovely neighborhood *Very nice spa
*Room in need of updating *Poor maintenance of stairwell/hallways & doors. Filthy windows & window sills. **The quality of The Pillar & Post has gone "downhill" since we last stayed there. It had been one of our favorite places to stay in Niagara-of-the-Lake, but the property no is longer worth the cost of the room.
