talking with the owners wonderful breakfast nice room
we had been charged the double price for a room but it has been solved very quickly.
The owners, a retired couple, very friendly and very helpful. Large bedrooms and bathrooms, great space to spread out. We had a very early start for the ferry on the day we left so were left a packed breakfast-very nice too. Breakfast-delicious! Waffles with fruit compote followed by cold meats, cheese and German style breads.
Excellent accommodations and delicious breakfast!! Very nice couple.
The decor was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and it was very clean. Friendly people and a very good breakfast made this stay commendable.
Very nice older couple very talkative and interestng
Leaving so early to catch ferry
- Really close to BC Ferries (5 minutes) - B&B with really all facilities of a good hotel - large room/bathroom - quiet
- First experience with B&B. Is different from hotel. We were all the time aware of the fact that we were staying at someone's house (b.t.w. this has nothing to do with hosts who left us to our own after reception). Wouldn't choose B&B in future.
very spacy and comfortable, a whole suit weell equipped and full privacy. Lorry and Dan thought of every detsil to make you feel at home. excelent location in a quiet and central neighbourhoody.
Willingness of host to accommodate our late arrival from the Inside Passage Ferry (arriving after 11:30 pm). Providing a take-out breakfast when we had to leave before 7:00 am.
Good location, 20 mins walk from downtown and the ferry terminal. Owners were really friendly and helpful with tourist info, but were not too intrusive. They were very accommodating, arranging an early check in for us. B&B was spotless and really cosy, with nice decore and art work throughout. Comfortable beds, bathroom with nice toiletries and hairdryer. Nice communal area with sofa, TV, tea/coffee facilities and fridge.
Nothing. But I would suggest some guests would like a TV in the room.
Interesting and gracious hosts, who are great cooks, catered to our needs, and made us welcome. Our room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable, with a view over the garden, which was in flower.
Everything was great
Very welcoming hosts, especially for travelers getting in at midnight from the ferry. Beautiful, spacious room; wish we could have stayed multiple nights.Very good breakfast. Again, hosts were very gracious and helpful.
The quality of the rooms, being surrounded by original works of art, the generously warm reception and the lovely breakfast.
There was nothing we did not like.
Fantastic hospitality. Very welcoming, and a lovely breakfast. Excellent location for the BC Ferry.
Having to cross the communal corridor for our bathroom/.wc. No tea/coffee/milk in our room, although there was a kettle. We would have request the room with ensuite, if we had been aware of this possiblilty.
Spacious clean and very comfortable room. Really lovely hosts who made you feel very welcome. Breakfast was extremely good. Would definitely recommend this b&b. Also a great location - only a few minutes drive from the ferry - a real bonus at 11.15pm when the ferry gets in!!
comfy room. fab shower.
quite a walk into town
Providing packed breakfast so we could leave early for the boat
Spacious and comfortable accommodation, guest lounge, spotlessly clean, hosts helpful, courteous and considerate. Stayed up to receive us at 2.00 a.m. when Skeena train was 5 hours late arriving.
We like everything, it was like home stay, very comfortable and pleasant. Thank you very much.
Excellent hosts in everyway . Only problem was we had to leave at 4 am to catch a ferry and couldn't talk more to our hosts. They made us a takeaway breakfast which was greatly appreciated
Very friendly and helpful owners. The best place we have stayed at on a 30 day trip.
I was traveling to Haida Gwaii so the location was superb - literally 5 minutes to the ferry terminal. I was upgraded to a very spacious and comfortable main floor suite at no extra cost when it became apparent that I would have difficulty negotiating a flight of stairs. The room was very private and the bed comfortable. There were even a couple of good "reading" chairs in the room. Breakfast was very European - meat, cheese, and lovely bread. A yummy baked grapefruit rounded out the breakfast.
Friendly and accommodating owner coping with late arrival on train. Excellent accommodation, comfortable and clean - wished we could have stayed longer
