The people was very friendly and the hotel was well located near Mont Royale. There was no alarm clock in the room. |

Central location. Close to the Mont Royal, the park, and lots of restaurants and shopping. Descriptions should make it clearer, this is a two star hotel. My room was clean but minimalist. Definitely a no frills place to stay. Electrical outlets in the bathroom did not work. |

Good location, friendly staff who spoke English very well. AC does not work very well at night, and, as the weather was very humid, we could hardly sleep. Hotel parking is expensive so we parked on the street. We did not realize they do charge the extra-person fee of $10/night from the info on the website, so it got fairly expensive. |

The size of the room was very good, the location was also a good distance from the club district and only cost 10 dollars a cab The hotel basically just offers you a room with a bathroom, tv, a few drawers, 2 beds, and a mini coffee table, thats it. |

The location was very good and the receptionist was extremely helpful with all of our queries. It would be great if there had been a lift - hard work dragging suitcase up the flights of stairs |

Absolutely nothing Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. They didn't even have an ice machine. I paid 100 dollars a night and I felt like I was in a crack house. The air conditioner barely worked. The room was tiny. There was an 18.5% sales tax that I didn't know about until I checked in. The breakfast was awful. I have not one good thing to say about the Hotel Plateau Royal |

We visited old Montreal downtown area. The parking in the area was poor. The hotel does not have enough parking spaces for all the rooms therefore you need to park in the street and move your car based on the allowable parking times. |

The service was excellent, staff were very friendly and helped with suggestions on parking and seeing the city attractions. Had one issue with the plug in the bath not working correctly; however, hotel staff quickly replaced the plug. |

I was expecting it to be a bit worse for the wear, however, I was surprised to find it clean and renovated. The comforter was nice. The bathroom was nice and I liked the fact that the room had a closet! The furniture in the room was old and long past its shelf life. It needs to be updated. The parking for the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. It needs a better system. Also, it would have been nice if there had been coffee in the room. |

Staff were very considerate. Noticed age and offered to change room to ground floor since there was no elevator. No elevator does not make it easy for seniors. |
