The view really was great. The breakfast was good. The "Beggar's Banquet" dinner was fun.

But very limited. I do not want to eat eggs every day. Some oatmeal would have been good. But a bit rushed and we would have liked the option of eating more quietly on one evening (we were there for 2 nights).

room was comfortable view out front of the building was very nice. enjoyed the dinner at the beggars feast.

room was very dark with the thick roman blinds and when opened, no privacy. new windows covers would be a good. some lawn chairs out front would be good for travellers staying in the back of the building.

We changed for a smaller room with no view - but it was new and clean. That was OK for us. If we recommend to others, we would make sure they talk with management before they book a room...

Room 8 - old cheap blinds which did not work. Rust on heating unit in bathroom. No door between stairs and bedroom. Old TV etc...

We loved our suite overlooking the water and the Fortress of Louisbourg. We could step off of our patio and walk down to the beach. Our 6 year old daughter loved being able to play on the beach, and she enjoyed the Beggar's Banquet as much as we did. We will definitely be returning to this hotel, and would recommend it to everyone.

Very spacious room, in brand new condition with gleaming hardwood floors and windows all around so bright and airy.

It wasn't a problem for us but guests need to be aware that there are only stairs to the second floor units.

We spent three days in Louisburg and absolutely loved Point of View Suites! The room faced the bay, it was very spacious, had all the amenities you would want, wonderful staff, and great breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.

We paid for the suite overlooking the ocean so could see it the whole day. You could see Fort Louisbourg from the balcony. It was a well equipped suite. It had a delightful Beggars Banquet of singing and dancing which was lots of fun.

spacious room with fridge, very clean, close to Beggar's Banquet (buffet in period costumes), close to Fortress of Louisbourg

We had a semi-circular room with lots of windows, looking over the parking lot. Leaving the window blinds down made the room rather dark, but putting up the blinds made the place feel not private enough. Perhaps there could be a sheer blind or curtains? Also, I felt that for the price, a breakfast could have been included.

Stayed here the night hurricane Arthur hit Cape Breton, and the hotel was great, and the staff encouraged us to not worry.

We could hear the couple upstairs walking around because of the wooden floors.

    Needs updating. Zero personality.

Single ply toilet paper. No pictures on the walls. Broken toilet seat and hook on back of bathroom door.

View, kitchen facilities. Easy to get to Fort.

The noise of people above. It was a very quiet time, few guests..could get noisy during busy time..Guy next door parked right in front of our room and washed his car and left it there instead of parking at the side.

Staff opened the restaurant for breakfast since there were so many rooms booked.

Our room didn't have a luggage rack.
